  1. Hello everyone. I am either not very good at searching or this topic hasn't been talked about yet. Here it is. Friday night i get home from work. Go to roll up my drivers window. It goes up half as then stops. I tried it again.. No luck. I tried every Window from the driver door. Then i tried every Window on each door at the door itself. Nothing. Then i tried the mirrors. Nothing. I then checked the power locks and they worked fine. So then i grabbed a test light and checked every fuse and all of them are good. So i then bought a new master window switch. And. Nothing. Still dead but power locks work. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how was it fixed?
  2. hi everyone thanks for taking some time to read this.. I was driving home today on the freeway thinking how nice my truck was running. I got into town left the shop light and the truck stayed in first gear. I let off the throttle and it shifted into second. It held second gear until I let off again. I have a converter lockup switch and the shift relay pulled and jumped. It's been this way for years. Now this happened... Another note I have 2 old optima batteries that are having a hard time starting the truck when it's cold in the morning. I'm open to hear theories ideas ect. Thanks again

Hi everyone, I am trying to get all the gauges l on my edge programmer to work, I'm lacking on the fuel pressure , I had it hooked up working fine, then I installed a fass fuel pump the big one, and doing that eliminated the banjo fitting at the vp44 , so my question is could someone please tell me where I can find a fitting like a T that will let me screw the sensor into the side. ? Or any suggestions?
  5. I tow with over drive off.. . It's just on some of the road s I'm towing on are extremely steep grades and only one lane per direction..

  8. It's a tow rig mainly. I drive it about once a week.. with the 3:54 gears it's awesome on the freeway, but towing up step grades is not to good.. I wouldn't mind down sizing tires but I'm running recentered h1 wheels that are 16.5
  9. Hello everyone, I'm trying to to figure out what gear ratio would be best in my truck. It's a 2000 , 2500 ,automatic. Stock gears in it are 3:54 and I put 37 inch military tires on it.. I am planning on gearing it but I need advice and opinions on what ratio to have installed.... 4:10 ? Or 4:56? , if I do 4:10 I can use stock carriers, if I go 4:56 I have to buy new carriers. what is the best for towing or all around.
  10. It's time for new tires on my 2000 , i was wondering how many people have the h1's With military 37s on their dodge s, if so how much lift was needed, ive heard a leveling kit and they fit, but want to make sure before i spend the money.
  11. I replaced the pcm with a new one from dodge, and had it programmed for my mileage and vin because the original one was smoked so Arter i got that done it's time to start fixing the other things like the overdrive situation.
  12. alright, I sold my 2002 dodge 2500 last week and picked up a 2000 Laramie slt 2500 short bed, its real nice! I like it. I had to have a new PCM installed in it today. (thankfully I have a great hook up ) so now the gauges work. but here is my dilemma , the guy I bought it from has 2 switches mounted on the lower dash, one is for converter lock up, the other is for over drive. and the transmission relay in the fuse block under the hood has been removed and 2 prongs are looped, (it does have a check engine light from it..) so I removed the looped wire, installed a new relay and leave the switches off. with the over drive button on it wont go into over drive. I check the wires at the plug on the trans, and 2 of the wires have been vampire tapped to those switches on the dash. I would really like to get this figured out and eliminate those switches. any ideas?
  13. Can't figure this out, please, help. My truck turns on and runs.. But non of my gauges are working on the dash. The odometer window says no bus. Any one have this happen?

  16. I am stuck trying to figure out which one to get for my truck.. I have read and read. all I hear is bad things about the Raptor pumps, I have read bad things about the FASS direct replacement pump, I have read good and bad about the Fuel Boss, I haven't heard anything about the BD lift pump, but they don't even have a good description about their own pump. I am looking to do this in a costly manor. I cant throw down the coin for the fuel boss. don't know which way to do with this. I know I am bringing up a topic that has been brought up and talked about over and over. I just know that I don't know the condition of my factory lift pump. or when it has been replaced.. I am assuming it has because my truck has 230k on it. iv`e only had it for a little over a year.

  18. run the good ol green stuff, mix youre ratio around 65% coolant and 35% distilled water. typical ratio is 50/50 but 65/35 will raise the boiling point and lower the freezing point. another thing mix the coolant before you fill your system.
  19. so this evening after work I pulled the ground off the batteries, then I unplugged the cam position sensor, the map sensor and my programmer. I took compressed air to all the plugs, then some dielectric grease to the plugs (figured it would be ok ,and haven't found anything bad about doing so) and then reconnected everything. turned the key to the on position, calibrated the APPS. started the truck. then I let it warm up for a few minutes. I then drove it about 10 miles heavily on the throttle, and no lights, no limp mode no issue. so I think I have this figured out. I have my fingers crossed.
  20. It goes into limp mode then comes right out of it and feels fine. This morning was driving to work no issues no lights....
  21. So I have been trying to figure out what is really going on. I have been getting engine codes at random. the truck will be running just fine for a few days, then the check engine light will come on. it will throw a P0341, then a P1690, and sometimes a P500 I know the definition of them but I cant seem to fix the problem, I started with the Cam position sensor, replaced it, problem still occurring, but then I go back and think how it will go for a day or two without having any issues. I took my programmer out. unplugged the batteries and let them sit, hooked them back up, calibrated the APPS. but that didn't help. then I read that bad battery cables / weak batteries, and bad grounds could cause things to act up. so .............................. I bought brandnew factory battery cables, and 2 new batteries. still nothing. now I am at a total loss.. I have no idea where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  22. Yes i still have the oe lift pump. I think it's time for it to go. Been reading allot on here about the good and the not so good. Just need to get some coin to drop on one.
  23. hi everyone my name is Jason barrett, I live in Lincoln Ca, I have an 02 2500 with a few simple things done, 4inch mbrp turbo back exhaust, BHAF, 2.5 inch leveling kit, quadzilla dxzt-02 programmer, an expensive transmission, with a d&p triple disc billet converter, billet servos, billet valve body, Kevlar bands, and that is about it for now. My ECM question is in my opinion a dumb one, I think I might know the answer to. so here we go, what exactly is the difference between a 2002 6speed ecm and a 2002 automatic ecm? I am assuming that the automatic one controls the shifting/ shift points in the transmission.
