  3. I am installing some candle sticks, which are fancy marker lights for the outside of the truck. I want to splice into the marker lights/turn signal so they turn on when the parking lights are on and blink with the turn signal. the marker lights have 3 wires: Green, Black, and I think its purple with a white line. Which ones would I splice into to get my candle sticks to work the way I am looking for? Thanks for the time and help.
  4. I have a 47re automatic transmission and about 1-2months ago lost over drive, so at 55mph Im riding at 3k rpms. I have to take back roads every where lol. I have a beater for now to get around over 40mph. I am wanting to swap my automatic for a stick. I live in Strongsville, Ohio which is between Cleveland and Akron on the westside. Any one know a place within 3-4 hours where they would have everything I need? Thanks in advance for the help, and Happy New Year!

  8. I did check the fuses and they don't look blown. Its a 2000. Any idea what fuse could be bad that wouldn't let the truck get any power? Or any relay maybe?
  9. Yesterday I installed a boost gage on my truck. One wire needed to be connected to a 12v ignition power wire. I spliced the wire into the red wire coming down from the ignition. When I did this sparks ignited. I disconnected the splice but now when I try and start the truck there is no power. Nothing. Any ideas out there? Thanks for the time fellas.

  14. Thank you very much. This will be a great help and start. I looked in my Haynes manual and it didn't have anything on the O/D switch, where is it located or is there a better manual out there were I can look up these specs?
  15. My transmission (47re) was shifting hard for a little while, and then I lost overdrive. I replaced the filter and solenoids on the trans and the hard shifting stopped but I still don't have overdrive. I replaced the APPS sensor less than 10k ago. I have read on here about a band being to tight or lose, but I don't know what this band is or if its slang. Please help, and thanks for the time.
  16. thank you so much i will let you know!
  17. First forum I have joined, it seems there are a lot of good intellegent people on here. I look forward to the bs'n and education. I need some help with my truck, she's my daily driver. I am getting two codes p0382,p0121. Its seems to not want to shift, its just running at 3k rpms and idles at 1k. I have replace manifold gaskets turbo gaskets and put a new exhusts with banks down pipe. I also put a new waste gate that is bigger than the original. I read on a web site to reset the apps by disconnecting the neg battery cables, let sit for 30min, hook back up and turn key to on without starting. Then slowly push the gas pedel down and slowly let it up. The problems seemed to get worse after doing this because before doing it i didnt have shifting problems. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for any help.
