  2. Unfortunately i have no fob...
  3. Ok guys had the opportunity to work on the article i found... took only seconds to find out there is nothing to ground on pin 1. Back to square one, i tried to engage the rolling locks and that was a fail as well.
  4. Well let me know how it goes
  5. How to program a Dodge keyless entry remote fob | eHow http://www.ehow.com/how_6194237_program-keyless-entry-remote-fob.html I found this article today, is it safe to cross pins 1 and 4 like they recommend?
  6. I have a 2001 and id like to have a door lock remote. I took my truck to the dealer to see if they could program a remote but the guy said he couldnt access the computer. I asked what could be the problem or what could i do to resolve... surprise surprise he said bring it in next week and we can look at it lol. So just seeing if anyone has any idea or input to help me get a lead on this.
  7. Thanks guys for all your help, i was able to locate the pop. The pitman arm steering linkage ball joint is shot.... i just had it replaced... theres no grease fitting so im sure it was lost and never greased.
  8. Definitely will have to check all of these things out thanks guys
  9. Leathermaneod, no you can feel it in the floor.
  10. No kidding, i just did all of that myself.
  11. Thanks jag, ill check it out. Angus, it only pops when sitting still and sometimes i can feel it in a slow turn.
  12. What brand is that track bar?
  13. The entire front end(minus the axle) is less than 12months old. And has under 6kmiles on it . I will have to do that, i researched a bit more after the post and found that. Unfortunately its been raining and i have a shade tree for a shop. When tightening the ball joint side, the castle nut was way below the cotter pin hole. I tightened it down fairly decent, i have a 2' breaker bar and i put some mucsle into it. Granted i didnt get it nut busting tight. Could this be my error?
  14. The truck had a pop sound on the frontend. When you turn the wheel to a certain degree to the left and then pops again when you turn it back right. I thought it maybe the ball joints so i replaced them and still popped. I asked around and others said it was the track bar. I purchased a new track bar and installed, now i have more popping than i had in the beginning. To top it off my steering wheel is turned 10 to 15° to the left... i did some research and found most saying turn the adjustment linkage to fix the steering wheel. Just making sure this is correct and wondering if the is anything else that may cause the pop.
  15. Hey moparman I bought one of those OBDII LINK and I don't have half the gauges and metering as you... was the there something I missed or is there extras?
