  1. Gonna have to give me a few, It's hotter than Hades and the only place to work on it or crawl under it is in the street and I bet I could fry an egg on the ground today. I might get under the truck later tonight with a light but I just got off the rider mower and I look like I came out of the shower. The heck with this muggy heat
  2. It kills lift pump, ecm, my guage cluster quits working
  3. I think it's the Engine control 2 fuse the long square looking 20 amp fuse. I'll have to go out tomorrow to look for sure but I'm pretty sure thats it
  4. Well I thought maybe my Ecm fuse cracked or something the day I hit the water but now yesterday my ecm fuse blew again. Wasn't doing anything other than just driving down the road. The heck could be causing this and is it something common or is something I'm going to have to beat my head on the truck while trying to fix it. This pretty much guarantees I'll be selling it too. Tired of having to fix something every time I want to drive it.
  5. Turns out this stupid fuse is acting funky. I was checking all my fuses cause my cluster wasn't doing anything plus my edge wasn't powering up when I turned my truck on. I grabbed it and went to pull it up and all of a sudden everything came to life. I forget what its labeled under the hood but its located on the top left
  6. I found a sensor that matches everything, but my wires are all corroded. Going to run all new wires down to the plug and sensor and If that doesn't work I'll bite the bullet and order another sensor from Edge,
  7. Was driving down the road and what I thought was an inch of water turned into a foot or more. Truck just shut off immediatelyand none of the gauges work and my edge doesn't communicate. how long till the stupid ecm dries out? At least I'm pretty sure that's what happened. 98 24 valve
  8. I'm looking for an aftermarket fuel pressure sensor that I can use that would be compatible with my edge juice w/ attitude. I've found them on Amazon.com but want to pick one up at AutoZone so if I have any issues I can return it. Anyone have any part numbers? This is the Amazon link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RCPDPRQ?ref_=pe_344980_242109030_em_1p_3_ti&redirect=true&pldnSite=1
  9. At this point I'm just going to hope it lasts till around tax time, going to send it to the shop to get my fuel gauge fixed, new injectors and probably just have them go through my fuel system and have them rewire it. I really really love this truck but some days I just want to sell it.
  10. Just finally got around to clean my grounds and power wire. Both were in good shape since they were wired direct to the battery, I tried to check my spring and ball but when I turn the connection the whole thing started to turn and twist my hose. Don't want to break anything since I'm short on an inside place to work on it plus tools at the moment. Might run it to a reputable guy that mainly just works on these trucks.
  11. Brand new this summer replaced them both Anyone know the part number for a new Airdog Relay? Mine looks like it has melted some on the inside. I called Airdog to order one and they have a 20.00 minimum. So now I need to find a replacement
  12. I'm starting to think that my fuel might have gelled a bit on me. It was 32 degrees this morning and since it has warmed up it's working fine and the last time I fueled up was a month ago so I'm pretty sure I didn't get winter blend diesel yet. The last time it did this to me it was pretty darn cold as well. but my relay for the Airdog also looks like it has gotten hot and started to disfigure the inside of it a bit so I'm going to order a new relay for it plus clean my battery connections just in case
  13. I can't remember this morning, but I'm pretty sure it does. When it warms up a tad I'm going to go out and check grounds and my positive connections
  14. I was getting about 16-17 psi after install. Not sure where my pump gets it's power but it could be not supplying me full power Does my pump run off the ECM? I was wondering that last night because for the last 2 years occasionally my ecm would hesitate to kick on my pump at times for a few seconds
