FREE V.I.N. report available on request. 2000 Dodge Ram 2500, (3/4 ton) RUST FREE 4X4 Cummins 24 valve , SLT, extended cab, long bed (8 ft .) This truck has the towing package and a 5.9 litre, 24 valve, Cummins diesel engine coupled to a SIX (6) speed manual floor shift. Vinyl bed liner, fiberglass bed cap. This truck is in good mechanical condition with 250 +/- thousand miles on the odometer. The Cummins diesel engine is considered a "million mile" engine by its many admirers. Most normal wear items have already been addressed, including fuel pump, injectors installed by prior owner, and new clutch, oil pan and gasket, starter, alternator, power steering pump, front end parts and cabin heater core installed since Seller purchased the truck in 2013. Plus two new Interstate batteries installed in December 2018. Front disc brakes are good, the rear drum brakes, have 40% +/- utility remaining. All the fluids and filters have been replaced including rear end, gear, brake, power steering fluid (replaced April, 2019), antifreeze, routinely. The oil, and oil and fuel filters are good until midsummer. The interior is in good shape, no unusual seat, headliner or carpet wear or tear, The driver's seat has a 1 inch smear, or melt mark, or something. There is no evidence of tobacco or other smoking in the cab. The dash itself has no cracks, but the hard plastic instrument panel bezel has a 2-3 inch, hairline crack. Power windows, heater/ AC, heated mirrors, and all the lights (including 2 newer high intensity headlamp bulbs and 4 amber clearance lights on the cab roof), wipers and horn work. The radio / cassette player (with equalizer) works, with normal sound from passenger side front, and both rear seat speakers, but the driver side front speaker wire is broken. Although it may look (in the first photo) like the clear coat on the driver side is coming off, it is not. The truck just visited the car wash and hasn't fully dried. The passenger side, rear fender and wheel well have minor sheet metal dents and a hairline tear in the sheet metal at the leading edge of the wheel well. I'm completing a bondo repair on that fender this week, and will post new photos asap. There is a small rear bumper dent, a scratch in passenger's front door, a wrinkle in the chrome on the grill, and a small dent in the cab bulkhead adjacent to the bed. See photos. The vinyl bed liner and fiberglass bed cap are in fair condition. If you would like to see photos I will send them asap. The four matched, mounted tires are Michelin all terrain tires, approx. 4 yrs. old, and have at least 30% tread remaining. A spare tire of same vintage as the tire that blew out is included.
