automatic transmission late shift
OK people I got a new ISSUE and need your help again. I drain trany unhook all line and clean them with air, clean the trany cooler with KOOLER CLEANER spry, installed new filter and drain valve on pan, adjust both band, fill it with Valvoline synthetic ATF+4. I measured amount of drain fluid was 3 gallon which is 12 quarts. after I add 11th quart start leaking right from panel or whatever is called under the flywheel. I had to open it till drain it so. is drained trany supposed to take 17 quarts? is not only this my real issue is: after all of this things I'm done trany start acting weird!!! between 46 to 52 MPH got confuse on 3rd and 4th. shifts from 3rd to 4th and back to 3rd right a way and again 4th and keep do in it till I let go of pedal and drop the speed to 45 or less then stays on 3rd OR keep pushing it and raise the speed to 55 MPH then stays on 4th what is the matter of this? in the other hand do we supposed to have 3 shift when O/D is off (light ON) and 4 shift when O/D is on (light OFF)? why I've 4 shift on both positions? Appreciate for help.

iding too high
Thank you. in this case what do I NEED to do? When I bought this truck an unskilled mechanic was installed the 165* thermostat and poor truck was running like that for a while till I changed it to 190*. is it possible that cause the problem (165* temp) and messed up the ECM?

iding too high
Appreciate for respond. I don't know what the timbo apps is? I checked at leas 20 trucks with same engine none of em had high idle like mine. they're around 700 to 750 but mine 950!!!!! it's really bugging me. I personally don't like high idling, and apologizes to whom they like it. I think after engine warmed up and got to safe operation temperature, there is no need of high idling, it's just wasting fuel and engine life but if LORD VP44 like it, I've no CHOICE and must bow to him and say noting further. And use carb cleaner too. spry around it so you can break the seal and rust between O ring and engine block. I did the same it helps too.

iding too high
I have the same issue with my 2000 / 24v. I installed new thermostat (made in Germany 190*) and check all temp by my digital temp gun and all are correct but regardless of weather cold or warm start idling @ 950 rpm then fall down to 750 rpm & reduce the battery voltage too (I notice it on night when interior light was ON,also panel light they became light & bright.) then goes up to 950 & keep do in it till warmed up and stays @ 950. as soon as I pot trany on R or D, it fall to 700 @ all time until change the trany to P or N again RPM goes up to 950. could I adjust mine with this method? where should I start & how do I do it? any advise / suggestion appreciate. Thanks for your time and effort.

Thank You so much my Dear friend for responding on my need. I need to get Dynamic,s phone number may be he send me his number via PM. I would be glad to speak with him. what is the small tank for between the line and cooler under the turbo on passenger side? Yes I'm so worried for trany she,s already leaking fluid from everywhere you name it and I'm trying to do as much as I can to save it until get it fix or rebuild. I'm so so sorry to saying that, I'm so tight on budget can't afford anything more than fully flushed it I mean even undoing the line as much as I can and drain them with air hoes even cooler. truly I'm scared puling anything with it. is anyone can tell me how can I adjust the band and which kind of tools I need? Appreciate for all your help and supporting me.
