  1. I will let you know by tomorrow. The truck has long crank time again in the morning and you have to back out of the pedal at full throttle because it slows the truck down. Same symptoms my last vp had but it had a p01688. I have no codes except 602 from Smarty stacked with Edge
  2. I checked both new and old overflow valves. They both are Good. I'll look into blue chips procedures and vp is not under warranty because I tapped the pump wire
  3. Did Map sensor code test. Checkout to be bad Map Sensor. Code has been gone for 2 days now. I replace the overflow return fuel valve. Again there was Not even a drop of fuel in the return line. With that finding i'm going to have to go back to my original thought and replace the New VP44 due to fuel pressure going down to 5psi couple times.

  5. out of the blue 237 code and the truck in a limp mode for moment. Whats on your mind for ideas I can check?
  6. Map sensor code is gone. still scratching my head on the cutting out issue. OverFlow Valves will be here Thursday and if that don't fix it? VP$$
  7. Truck went into limp mode for a few moments yesterday, and throwing code p0237. Tried Cleaning it but light keeps coming back On. Be nice if that also fixes the low power issue
  8. Yes, Just New ECM. I called Computer Resource Company they said yes 501 code could be caused by broken/solder joints on the board. 501 could would come on after driving 25ft every time. 501 code has not come on again!
  9. I believe there is a little restriction in the basket for the return line from the vp44, it is the way it was from the factory so, That is not the issue here. Now as for the fuel emptied out of the return line and the truck not starting that is weird to me.1 line comes from back of Head and other line comes from return of VP44 and they meet together and goes back to tank. I will change the banjo bolt just to KNow if its leaking. It would seam to me the vp is releasing the fuel
  10. yes , after working on the fuel line today I noticed that if there was NO Fuel in the Return Line coming from vp44 than I had a hard start issue. took 3 times for it to start and it always fires right away. I'm going to leave the Return Line submerged in the basket. For some reason the vp44 needs return pressure? Like i said it wasn't easy blowing into the fuel line returning into the basket. I did take off the Smarty today and set the edge on 6x5 with timing at 1,3 advance. The truck has very slow reaction time. And My Stacked programmers was working awesome. I was thinking maybe the blocked return line was an issue but after today I realized its not blocked its just restricting fuel back. Iam still at Vp44 is bad with my cutting out issue..
  11. When I tried blowing in the return line halfway down the truck frame i really couldn't but did. After trying 3 times fuel started running back at me.So the return line is inside the basket submerged in fuel. Should I take the tank down and cut the return line so its about 1-2 inches inside the tank?
  12. No i'm not trying to drain it. I had a small leak coming from the plastic to metal line on the return side. I just wanted to make sure return line was supposed to be in basket in the fuel tank. I blew into the return line that goes to the tank and it created a vacuum and fuel came out the line. I originally thought the line should go back to the tank but not touch the fuel sitting in the tank. but Now I know.
  13. Yes i am referring to the stock fuel line coming from the vp44 T-adapter going to the tank. My Fuel return line is going to the bottom of the basket, it just got me thinking that the fuel should flow easy back to the tank with no restrictions.I also noticed if that return line was drained of fuel I would have to prime the system by using the key bump to activate the Air Dog 150 relay.

I just tried Data Logging 3 runs and Fusion says same things as other edge unit did " data file missing or corrupt and now save" I just fixed a small fuel like on the frame rail and I noticed that when I tried blowing on the return line to the tank I was blowing against fuel and it started draining back toward me. Correct me if I'm wrong but the fuel on the return side should have no restrictions and drop back into the tank from the top not into the basket?
  15. New ECM fixed the p0501 and p0500 code the truck was getting. Was not CAB module like dealership thought!
  16. I do have 150hp injectors, Stock Turbo. It was building boost until 33 and pulling hard, now it is struggling to hit 26 psi boost. When I'm hard on the pedal it lights right up and wants to spin the tires than the Power Cuts OFF and I have to back out the pedal a little and power is like a switch and is back On until I want to hit the throttle hard again it will cut out again. its not backdown % either but it sure acts like it, Rev Limiter. sometimes the truck will cut In and Out of rpm exactly like a 7AL MSD Box does when Rev chip is installed.
  17. I have tried unstacking the Smarty S03 and only running the Edge juice W/att. The truck does surge with or without the Smarty. Running Banks Air Box and Banks Intake, Straight pipe no restrictions,Edge/Smarty,Air Dog 150,Beans Fuel Sump kit. When I take the Smarty Off the truck is has less reaction time and less pulling power. Now as I stated posts ago, If I take all Power Programmers off the truck it has NO Power as if I am pulling a train and doesnt want to pick up speed at all! Little scary when hill comes up cause it will slow down. I forgot to mention I did try a Edge Comp Box wire tap that does fuel only. On 5x5 truck has ok power, still does surge little.
  18. I have the timing set to OFF for the Smarty S03. On the New Edge Level 7 CTS you can change each level of timing 1-5 for each power setting 1-7 and still set 1-5 for low fuel/boost. Unit is nice and I can tell there is more power with Timing set at 1 on level 5-7 but its still is NOT as powerful as the truck was when i first put it together. I spoke with few people that sell Vp44's and they say "maybe" but with no code they are guessing if vp is bad. I've noticed the 602 code showing up if I change power levels while driving, but if i change the power level in the driveway with key on engine off "koeo" the code does not show up. Question for Ya? Whats your thoughts on putting a P-pump 7100 on the truck with 150hp injuectors? Can I still use both tuners and ECM,PCM? With no TPS sensor connected the check engine light will be on all the time? Just thinking of not risking the vp44 issues since I am putting twin turbos on the truck as well
  19. another update: Guys at ThoroughBred Diesel sent me out the New Edge Juice W/att. CTS COMP! Level 7 with timing adjustments for ea. level. Unit is Awesome, but that did NOT fix the truck with it Cutting out on Level 5-7. Only option is to assume the VP-44 is bad? Only code I get now is p0602 w/ p01693. Anyone with other ideas i'm all ears.
  20. I installed and updated New "Rebuilt" ECM and that did get rid of the code P0501 and the truck is starting up faster that it did before. Thats the good news. How ever when I put the power level on 6 it will cut out at half throttle. If I put the Edge on 5 it does not cut out now, but it doesn't seam like the level 5 was when i first put the truck together. Edge wants the entire unit and wiring to test it there. Any other ideas would be great! Again If I nail the throttle it will launch hard than cut out until i back off the pedal 1/4 way.fuel is seams to be just being cut off. Possible injection Pump IDK
  21. I took some of the power out of the truck today, Before when i get hard on the pedal it would cut out between 40-60% throttle. when i take power out it doesn't cut out until 60-70% throttle. Spoke with All Computer Resource that is sending me a rebuilt ECM told me the 501 code and the power cutting out is a common issue they have seen. IDK, but I have no choice but to put the new ECM on and go from there. Dealership ruled out all possible wiring. Any More Ideas it may otherwise be please let me know,
  22. I noticed that the truck cuts out when hard on pedal but also the boost topped out at 33psi. I'm running smarty s03 and edge jusice w/att cts that is supposed to have boost fooling. Would I need a higher boost sensor? Even If I stand on the pedal it goes hard than cuts out until i come off the pedal some. Maybe its Turbo is weak, it does have a very little play up and down on front impeller. If Waste gate didn't open would the trucks ecm cut out the power until i backed off the pedal? Too much duration in the Smarty?
  23. your air dog should have came with a Relay and wiring harness that ties into the factory lift pump connector and than run the other 2 wires to the battery
  24. Update today, Truck has been at Dodge Dealership for 5 days, just today they called said they believe it is the ECM. No Signal coming from PCM and all wires test Good. Does anyone think ECM could cause 501 code and LOSS of Power "actually cuts out when hard on pedal"? No Other Codes are present except the po1693 companion code
  25. I did pull the connector off the alternator and pull out the 140amp alternator fuse. Drove the truck around for 30 minutes,pull the fuse and connector did not change the way the tranny shifted at all. I felt I've checked all i can check without DR111/scan tool. So I took it to dealership today and had them put the tires to 601rpm rather than 800rpm, the tranny did shift better but the 501 code is still there. Dealership ran test for 4 hours will I waited to see what they think? They told me he believes its the CAB Module but not sure, he is waiting for "Dodge" to respond to with some input. He did take freeze frames data and sent it off to them. What does the CAB Module exactly run? Is that the box under the left side of the dashboard that I'm all of a sudden hearing squeling? Dealer didn't charge me but they are Really Scratching there heads
