Fuel leak
So if I get a snubber for my pressure sensor I will get a different reading or just not kill my gauge if I haven’t already. I don’t understand the line size, to the best of my knowledge the banjo off the bottom of fuel filter canister is the stock line my truck came with, I continued with my tee for the gauge with the same size line, and isn’t this the line that feeds my injector pump? I’m pretty envious of morpar mans fuel line set up ,it looks very impressive and probably works that way to. My truck has been a real work horse for me over the years and I’d like to take better care of it. And I thought I was trying, when I bought the gauge I thought I put it where it belongs but it has read 30 psi since day one. It has pretty colors that change and flicker a lot. With this wonderful place for knowledge I may be able to do better. Since brand new I never missed or was late on oil changes. If you don’t do anything else change the oil is what I heard.wait till you see my leaf spring coming through the bed. I like chicken

The T with the sensor for pressure is coming off the banjo on the bottom of the fuel filter canister

Fuel leak
I’m happy with the way my repair turned out. I used 5/16 id fuel line and I cut line just above that plastic disconnect and only removed the plastic line. I connected where it went to a steel line underneath. I don’t see any chance of kink. I put in a fuel pressure gauge and hear people talk about there fuel pressure, would someone look at mine and tell me where I went wrong, my aways reads pegged out at 30. And my truck starts right up like it used to.

Fuel leak
I read the move the T after I was done. And the T maintenance was for knot anyway, I spliced in a piece replacing the disconnect, and believe me I don’t have a clue why they call it quick. After 15 minutes no leak, better mileage here I come. Thanks everyone. It will be a day or two before my hands recover.

Fuel leak
It’s 34 degrees out and I have my 5 foot piece of hose and 2 clamps better now than never.

Fuel leak
That sounds like the easiest, the disconnect isn’t in a place to be able to disconnect it anyway. Is diesel fuel line different from regular fuel line. Piece of hose and two clamps sounds great compared to yesterday.

Greed, are you saying you repaired the disconnect?

Fuel leak
Is it possible I have a quick disconnect on bottom line off T. I bought truck new and I don’t recall doing anything to that fuel line. Does anybody know what size that line is? I think it’s steel with plastic coating on it. I have to go get parts before I can take it apart. And leak a gallon of fuel. Thanks for all the help I’m getting.

Fuel leak
In the two drawing of the T in the fuel components one looks to have a steel line after the bottom of the T connection, the other looks to have a plastic something. I have the plastice thing that’s looks like a quick disconnect. I think that’s where my problem is leaking from. I can kinda reach up to it a feel the connection but can’t get it to disconnect. Now my guess would be take bottom line bracket off block and unscrew bottom nut and cut line down low where it’s easily accessible and splice in a piece from the disconnect down,, after all this is a low pressure return line isn’t it.

Fuel return T Repair and Replacement
This was very helpful, it was a difficult job for me, my hands took a beating and laying on the engine is a chore. When I got done putting in the grommets and banjo washers I put all other things back in order and now it leaks bigger drops and faster. I could drive it with pryer leak but not now. So tomorrow I will look for a problem right below the tee.

I will get a couple cans , it’s following the one return line but also dripping off bellhousing. Thanks

Fuel leak
I bought 4 banjo washers and only 3 of the T washers they were 10.95 I think so didn’t get extras. I put it back together so I have wheels and it still drips. Thanks for the thread I didn’t know where to look for parts. Dodge never has what I need in stock anyway. I should be in the washer business my bill was 51.80 for seven pieces.

I found the link to repair and replace the tee. Thank you very much. I will order some parts. Since I don’t know which one leaks I should just do all.

Fuel leak
I’m not sure about the fuel filter and heater. I took out the 2 bolts for fuel filter can and it’s just hanging off to the side. When it stops raining I m going to work on it, but not sure what I’m going to do. I don’t know where the leak is, just that it follows the line down and drips. I’d probably blow half my lines off with a good pressure wash, but yes it needs one. I bought the truck new and pretty much just worked on stuff when it broke.
