  1. The joint is moving side to side in the yoke attached to the rear end. I was afraid someone would say the yoke itself was bad... hunting down a u joint would be much easier. ??? Thanks for the info.
  2. Ok guys, I’ve got a low hum at 60 mph. I did some digging and the rear end u joint has side to side play in the yoke of the rear end. I’m more than convinced this is my problem. The joint itself is not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve tried to shim it to hold it tight, but that was a temporary fix and did not last but a few minutes. I went to town and brought home the Spicer and SKF replacements but both new u joints also wiggle side to side. What do I do now?
  3. I’m also curious about your setup @IBMobile. I’m new to 2nd gen, and am getting used to the stock feel before Mods. I would like to start out with an indicator light to show when lock up is engaged to make it easier to “Feel the old girl up” ???
