Wil440 had had the dash torn apart so i just finished taking out the dash. tomorrow i will open up the wire from under the electrical tape. I think i will be in for a treat. But at least I will wire it right and add the relays. Thanks for the post.

Thanks Dave110. I did download it but there is no pink/red on the diagrams and also it does not show directional current. Usually thereis a }}} symbol to show direction of current so i cannot tell if the LG wire is hot before it gets to the HL switch like mines is.

OK 2nd gen gurus I have searched for days and now must ask. Working on getting the headlight switch operational again in my 01. PO spliced in a pullout type HL switch which looks to be from the 97 type rams. So what I have is power to the headlights constant. which I believe is correct. So feeding into my HL switch I have a pink and red that is hot constant. The red and green which is the largest going in should also be hot constant but is not. However if I turn on the switch the red/green becomes hot. Also the LG wire that is HL output to the dimmer in the multifunction switch is constant hot. I believe the LG should only become hot after the HL switch is pulled out the the HL illuminate position. So any input would be great and thank you for the help in advance.

Doing heat core, evaporator, blower motor and resistor, and new actuators all around right now. When i took everything apart all of my foam gaskets and most of my firewall disintegrated. I was wondering which foam you use for your gaskets? And i can no longer get the firewall pad so i guess i make my own. Thanks in advance.

Pepsi I didn't drop the valve body but it did free drain for a few days while it rained here and i couldn't crawl underneath. This is only my second auto ever and I didn't realize that the TC probably drained as well. So it ultimately needed far more fluid then I anticipated. Well she is turning and burning now with no issues. Fingers crossed and thanks again for chimmimg in. Hope you folks stay safe in that weather.

Using the the engine. I am not sure if the rear wheels need to be weight loaded for drive shaft to turn the rear wheels. Thanks in advance.

Well this may be more of a general question. Will the driveshaft and rear wheels turn if my truck is up on jack stands? Just finished installing the BD solenoid upgrades in my 01 2500 47re and Im not getting any movement from the driveshaft in any of the gears. Doing a lot of work on the truck which is why its up on the jack stands.

I recently installed the mopar1973man high idle kit and it has worked out great. But i have noticed once I turn it off and let the truck idle for a while it will idle up again to 1200 rpm. It this normal after having my 2001 flashed with the smarty due to it being programmed into the system now. I live in clearwater florida and the days i have noticed this have all been above 70 degrees. Do you guys and gals think I have an issue, operator error, or just part of the new system flash. We have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe at the fire department as a spare vehicle. The other day on shift I had to drive to a class. Well low and behold i get in realise the front bucket seats have the seatbelts built into them like our 2nd gens. So now we have another option for seats. I'm sure brackets can be fabbed. Heres a pic of 05 Tahoe front seat.
