  1. @kzimmer so what’s the point then? Might as well leave it at 2° at 100% for the smoothness. I just don’t see the point in having the scaling option when you can just set the low psi timing reduction at whatever you want (in my case, 2°) and would be smooth versus a rough feeling truck.
  2. Okay so I’m lost on how the timing reduct scaling works. If it’s goes off throttle percentage and I have it set at say, 50% and I have my low psi timing set at say, 4*, it only gives me a maximum 2* of pulled timing?! If that was the case, why wouldn’t I just set my low psi timing at 2* and leave the scaling set at 100%? Or put it at 4* and keep it at 100% so I get the full 4* of pulled timing. Why does the tuning manual say I will only get 50% of pulled timing at 50% throttle position? Why can’t I have all 4* of pulled timing at 50% TP?
  3. @Me78569 so on my way into work this morning, I tried as best as I could to pay attention to the monitor. Cruising at 70 mph I was anywhere between 650-800 egt’s. 18%-26% engine load. 19.30*-20.17* of timing. I thought according to the tuning guide for 70 mph that 19* of timing was the best for mpg
  4. @Mopar1973Man I will download your tune as soon as I can and see what happens. Appreciate that. @Me78569 I have no way of data logging for myself since I do not have excel. I only had excel for like a week cause it was a little promotion but now I have to pay for it to even use it
  5. I am trying to create my economy/ daily driving tune with some decent passing power and lower cruising egts. Right now my egts are running 650-750 at 70mph. They are a little lower at 65mph but the highway that I mainly travel on (115 miles round trip 5 days a week) is 70mph and if you ain’t doing that you’ll get run over. Now I live in Kentucky where the longest stretch of straight, flat road is about a mile long and I know that probably has some effect on this. But right now this tune is running very smoothly and has the passing power I like but I want to lower my egts and if that means sacrificing some power, I’m fine with that. Main goal is better MPG. Also I don’t have excel on my computer cause I’m not paying 140$ for it. So any help would be appreciated. Also I have 3.73 gears and running 305/12.5/16’s. Here is my tune. I’ve messed around with the light throttle timing adv. (adjusting it to 1.5 and up to 3.5) but it seems to surge while throttling light when shifting from 3rd to 4th Power Levels: 10 (usually kept on levels 4, 5 and 6) Timing Max Load Timing Offset: 2 Low PSI Timing Reduct: 3 Timing Reduct Scaling: 100% Light Throttle Timing Adv: 2 Light Throttle Timing Load Limit: 30% Timing vs rpm 1500: 15 2000: 18 2500: 21 3000: 23 Timing Max: 24 Wiretap Pump Stretch: 1600 TPS Pump max: 85% TPS Pump Min: 20% Minimum Pump Tap Fueling Percentage: 0% Pump Low Boost Scale PSI: 0% Boost Scaling: 30psi RPM Limit: 3400 Power Reduction: 15% 0 PSI %: 100 1 PSI %: 102 2 PSI %: 104 3 PSI %: 106 4 PSI %: 108 5 PSI %: 112 6 PSI %: 115 7 PSI %: 118 8 PSI %: 121 9 PSI %: 124 10 PSI %: 125 11 PSI %: 126 12 PSI %: 127 13 PSI %: 128 14 PSI %: 129 15 PSI %: 130 16 PSI %: 133 18 PSI %: 135 20 PSI %: 140 22 PSI %: 145 24 PSI %: 150 26 PSI %: 150 28 PSI %: 150 30 PSI %: 150

I recently installed the new quadzilla v2 and I had set my turbo timer up for time instead of it being based off EGT’s because I haven’t installed the egt probe yet. It worked for 2 days and now it will not work. What do I do or need to check?

So I have an existing EGT gauge, trans temp gauge and fuel pressure gauge. My question is, can I tap off the existing wires on the egt harness to allow my quadzilla to monitor the temps or should I go ahead and install the quadzilla probe? Second question is, how can I rename a gauge? I hooked the “trans temp gauge up to my oil temp since I already have a trans temp gauge on my truck. I will be looking at the v2 custom tuning in depth article. Appreciate the help.

Terribly sorry for that. I was in valet mode. Everything is all good now. Tunes run amazingly. Need to dial them in a bit but very very impressed with them. Especially the race one. Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me @Me78569 lol I was having a mental breakdown

I just got done installing the quadzilla on my truck and went to the quadzilla tune builder to help build tunes. I did a daily, tow and race tune. I started in the daily tune and it would not allow me to go over like 1200 rpm. So I changed tunes to the tow, it went fine. Changed to the race tune, it also ran very nice. Switched back to the daily tune and it still will not let me go over 1200 rpm. Now no matter what tune I’m in, they all do the same thing and will not let me go over 1200 rpm. I changed nothing. I also have no idea how too datalog.
