Last week the security system cluster light start to stay on everytime that I drive the truck and the key remote buttons stop to work. Tonight my wife take the truck to go at the mall and when she comeback in the parking lots to drive the truck she open the door and the horn and lights start to flash, she start the truck and the alarm still flash the light and sound the horn, she try to push the panic button, lock unlock the door nothing work to stop the alarm. after about 15 minutes of ALARM PARTY with the engine running the alarm stop, but as soon as she unlock the door manualy (the button stop to work in the truck to) the alarm start again. Is anybody already have this problem and whats going on with that security system. Did somebody have a way to fix that thing...........The truck is a 2006 megacab.Thanks!!!

Is anybody do a P conversion on 2004 common rail engine. I am looking to do my truck and I dont no what I need for all the parts and if it worth it.

I will check that, is it a problem on this model that the core get pluged.... I never have any problem like that with any of my other truck.

It look like your lift pump is giving up, have your lift pump pressure check..

My truck is a 2004, since I have it the heater is not blowing a lot of heat during winter, this not realy a problem for me but my wife and my kids dont realy like the cold. I change the thermostat, I put a rubber mat to close 75% of the rad, the T is rising like normal but the fan is blowing cold air most of the time. Where I work I drive some newer cummins, 2006, 2007, and they blow heat like hell, the T just start to raise and the fan blow hot air. I dont now if some door in the blowing system are broken or what, last summer I check if the motor move the door when I move the control and everithing was looking fine, Yesterday it was -35 C here in Canada and the cab start to warm up after 1/2 hour drive... dont now where to check next...

Since I change the output speed sensor the truck have no problem, I hope is fix for good.

What is the reason to wrap the starter with aluminium foil, is it to prevent some electric interference ....

My truck have the same problem for about to week, I will try to change the output speed sensor this week and see, keep you inform.

I founf that this code can be related to the Output speed sensor, this sensor monitor the output shaft rotating speed. The sensor cost is 37$ I will try to replace it and see if it fix my problem. Keep you inform...

My truck pop a code today P0720 (Output speed sensor circuit malfonction) I dont now what is that system for, is is the speed probe for the speedometer. I dont now if that system can cause my trouble. If somebody already have that code and now where I have to start for troubleshooting help is welcome. My truck is a 2004 with a auto trany, the only mod is a airdog 150. My 2 batterie are new and I check for a bad ground and everything look good on that side

I check for codes last week, I will check again tomorow morning. I use a OBD II reader to check the codes. Comeback tomorow with what I found...

My truck start to chug again today, it was fine for a week. No code show up, today it's - 15 and snow fall. I have no clue where to start to check for that snag...it do the same thing as before, gear shift for no reason an I can't get faster than 60 Km/h... --- Update to the previous post... Tonight after diner I drive my truck and I beat the crap out of it and it drive like new. I do a lot of stop and go, drive it in tow/haul mode, in drive, 2 and 1 speed selection, nothing happen. This truck is pising me off right now. I see on other tread that some guy have problem with a selenoid in the transmission, I dont now if this is my problem, a bad selenoid, if somebody have any advice, help is welcome.

No I dont have a Fuel pressure gauge, I want to instal one but I dont no if it's better to put a mecanical one or to wait and buy a electronic one. If somebody can give me any advice for with brand to instal... Since I change my fuel filter and water separator my truck run like new... I hope that was the problem.
