Bully Dog GT+
Hi just wondering if I can pull off the stock exhaust if I am running a Bully Dog GT+ tuner. Nowhere in the install did it ask if emissions equipment was already removed like it did on my H and S. Also is there any positive or negative reviews on the tuner? Brad

Anyone running a bottom feed sump on their stock tank?
I am running an XDP dump and I love it! I never worry now bout runnin it under an 1/8th tank and if I do run it rite out it isn't hard to prime my lift pump which is just 16 inches ahead of the sump.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Since my last oil change when I put in 0-40 synthetic oil I've noticed increased blow by up to where there is a fair size of a spot on the floor. Is this an indication of an overhaul in the near future or is it not a big worry short term?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Terrible luck with Raptor.
I bot a Raptor this spring and it lasted about 3 months. I replaced it with the same thing and its worked now for about 4 months altho I hafta adjust the pressure every now n than. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well it looks like I'll keep the tranny I got. Probly get it built with BD and ATS parts. I already put in a good TC a while ago and so I'm already invested in it. I think I'll probly get BD's lock-up controller when i do it to at least get me the solid feel to each gear i want and better downshifting. I ges we'll see what all my builder recommends:spend::broke:

Any1 using Suncoast parts? i see a lot about ATS and Goerend and Garmon but not much Suncoast stuff. I thot they where pretty good to!?

slow starting
almost sounds like your starter might be dragging or on its way out. when i ran heavy equipment we had that happen often enough and it wasnt usually long n they shorted out inside and were done

are you sayin Rogan that i only got a 50-50 chance of liking the 5 or 6 speed? i'm sorta leanin toward just gettin my auto built to a stage 4 or something similar just short of a race tranny. since this thing makes my living it needs to be reliable:pray:. not sure whats right now:shrug:

Ya I'm pullin around a 30' gooseneck with a 10 000lb skidsteer on it. So the combo wood be about 16000 lbs. with the mods I've done to the engine it really seems up to the job but I've been tossing ideas around bout transmissions. Either a built auto or a 5 or 6 speed manual. Is there mods that wood need to be done on a standard as well to stand up to 500 horses?

4 Speed Tranny??? Naw 1!!
My tranny was workin fine since I put in my new TC but this afternoon as i pulled out to go around a truck on the road doin bout 20 mile/hr it decided to stay in 3rd gear lockup and just about stalled the truck! From there it went downhill to the point now where i only got 1st gear and my edge pulls up no codes and niether does the key trick! i quick went to town and got a tranny output speed sensor but that didnt change anything. whats the next thing i should try?

I was wonderin if there was any1 out there who knew a trick for switchin off the automatic door locks. I get so of drivin across the yard n if u hit 10 mile an hour your doors are locked and I'm usually at the passenger door by the time i remember it:banghead:. Mayb its something the dealer has to delete, i just thot they did sumthin with the door lock switch.

do any of you guys run an intake elbow? i was gna try 1 of them to cuz lookin at the stock 1 with its square corners it sure looks restrictive. Do they make a worthwhile difference?

There i'm booked in to get a new TC put in. goin BD triple disc high stall. can't wait to see what this'll do for my tranny temps!! Iv've already done the springs and done 2 small BD upgrades to up my line pressure so i hope it will all work better with a decent TC. Johnfak, i do believe it is a S-HX40 but not entirely sure. its been modified to be ready for twinning so maybe we can go head to head some day:lol:. right now we're just settin it up to max out at 50 psi. also the injectors are comin from BD so whatever they sell.

ya i think i see a TC and head studs in my near future. if I can even hit 500 I'll be:)! I'm wonderin about my egts with 150s. we're settin the turbo up for 50lbs max boost. maybe 100 horse injectors wood be better?

I got a raptor 150 showin up any day now, AFE blade runner on order, and am planning to go with an hx40 and 150 horse injectors. Was wondering what u guys thot of th combo together with my juice and what my estimated power cud be. Someday I hope to crack 650hp:tongue:

I got the sensor mounted in a port on the back side of the transmission on the passenger side of it as laid out in the edge install instructions. The torque is locking up when i hit 50 mile an hour and it does cool off when it locks up. just gettin there can actually take it above 200 in a hurry. A local mechanic/dodge guru put heavier springs in my valve body and also upgraded the pressure dump valve and solenoid. I'm driving all gravel roads so a little soft with quite a few starts n stops. Also I'm runnin the 285/75 toyo m/ts.

I just installed my edge on saturday and now with the tranny temp guage on there i see its runnin very hot. no problem hittin 200 degrees:pant:! I'm pullin around 16000lbs most of the time but it still seems odd it would heat up so quick. i just replaced all my cooler lines and wasn't sure if i coulda started something than:shrug: ? any ideas or whats the first mod i shud do to fix this?

pulled the vp44 yesterday after orderin the o-rings from my favorite diesel injection shop. now i'll wait for it to come back so i can try it out:ahhh:. i hope theres no special trix to puttin it back on with timing it or anything.

Ya thats the 1! Is there gasket on that cover or is there something deeper inside leakin you think?
