I've done extensive work to the front of my 01.5 and the 3rd gen upgrade was a must. I also did the same w/steering box and borgeson shaft as well. Steering box brace, custom bent adjustable drag link and track bar. I did this myself to correct angles and take stress off of joints as my truck I lifted about 7".
