My 2001 will not start, starter wont click, lights will not even come on. Batteries have a sufficient charge but everything electronic seems to be completely dead. I dont even get the clicking when you open the door and the batteries are in need of a charge. Installed a new alternator last month and my Optimas are in great shape. I disconnected both negative terminals to see if anything would reset but it did not do anything. Started great and ran fine last night...:banghead: I know it is in need of a bath really bad and I have been driving through a heck of a mud hole getting to and from work...perhaps something came loose??? Any help is appreciated! - - - Updated - - - Well, guess I should have checked all of the wires before posting. Ended up being the positive cable running to the fuse box that pulled out of the terminal.

I am working on my brothers 1999 Dodge doollie, 3500 extended cab with the 24 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel. When you turn the headlights on it kills the engine. The problem is sporadic and will come and go. I pull the ASD relay and the engine will run with the headlights on, after a while, maybe five minutes it will kill the engine, when you turn the headlights back on. I have replaced both the ASD and Fuel pump relays. I also have .5 amp discharge from the battery, which I tried to track down by pulling circuit fuses, one at a time. I did not find it. I believe I have a bad ground somewhere but can't find the link between killing the fuel pump (engine dies) and the headlights being turned on. Any help!

Hey guys, was searching around on the internet trying to see if anyone else was having the same issue I am but cant seem to find anyone with the same problem, and anyone I have talked to has no idea at all. I wish I could remember what I did when it all started, what happens is it has a little lope but its not constant, it will idle fine for a second then have a lope in the idle for a second and just keep doing that back and forth. The headlights and dash lights will flicker at the same pace as the lope. I have put an external voltage regulator, a raptor factory replacement lift pump, and a quadzilla adrenaline the one awnser I did get from a guy was that the quadzilla is probally messing up and fueling way to much then normal again, which I am thinking makes sense since the turbo guage is messed up and it will read from 3-10psi and everywhere in between just sitting idle and the fp guage just got fried a while back just wanted to see what you guys thought. I do not see how it could be air in the lines because its not constant it will idle fine for a bit then go back to the weird loppy idle. The more I think about it the more I thinking the quadzilla is garbage,
