Evening Gals and Gents, Having Issues with my Scangauge. It doesn't report load(LOD) correctly. It's showing 0 LOD at idle. This results in 0.0 GPH at idle. I have contacted Scangauge and am currently emailing with them to hopefully find the problem. For those of you with a Scangauge what do you show for GPH and LOD at idle? How is LOAD calculated? I can even see 0 LOD when TPS is greater than 0. I found this out while coasting downhill in neutral and slowly pressing throtle down. I do have codes stored: 0622, 0743, 1595, 1765 I believe most of those codes were related to the Mystery Switch Lockup control Other Known Problems are Alternator VAC to high(cycles between 0.065-0.156 at idle) Thanks! Currently running a 2002 Ram Cummins 2500 Quad Cab Automatic. Mostly stock except RP-100 and edge programmer.

Alright heres a video of my truck. Now here's what I want to find out. If you notice, the voltage is 11.7 while it runs initially, then whatever that something is lets up and shows the grid heater only drawing it to 12.2, then it lets off and 14v is seen. So what is the initial thing that draws it down to 11.7? Does the grid heater have 2 power levels?

how much can you haul in the bed?
dripley posted a topic in 2nd Generation Dodge 24 Valve Powertrain
I have seen several threads on how big a load you can pull. How big of a load have you hauled in your bed. I just had to go after brick for my mason. I put 2 cubes of brick in the bed. That is somwhere in the neighborhood of 6k pounds. The truck had plenty of power to haul, my rv out weighs it considerably. the first cube put it just above the overloads and the second cube put hard on them. I was able to get the load centerd in the bed(2 cubes=6'-6" long) which helped put some weight to the front. But i was really suprised she handled that much weight in the bed as well as it did. She sat level, rode great, steering was a little light but handled pretty normal, when you hit a bump you could tell it had a lot weight in it. Just curious how much any of yall have toted.
