Smart kid.    I do love those 99-04 mustangs, I had a 2000 for a couple years and really miss it.  I would love to have a blue Mach1  though.

The Azure Blue Mach was second in choice back when I bought the yellow Mach with 9 miles on the clock for a sticker price of $32k. I just couldn't refuse the yellow. The yellow Mach is probably the last brand new car I'll ever buy. The depreciation of new cars is just not worth it. So far the 32V 4.6 had a new right head at 48k miles due to a broken spark plug and I refused the drill and helicoil route and countless ignition coils so far. Then I've rebuilt the 8.8 differential twice, the first time a pinion bearing failure and I went with 3.73 and the second time a ring gear failure and I went back to 3.55. Now I need to rebuild the Tremec TR3650 because 3rd gear syncro is gone and 2nd gear syncro isn't far behind. 

 

I really can't complain though. I've driven the car  very hard for 105k miles to the point most would call it abuse. It still runs strong and will come unglued on dry pavement when pinning the accelerator to the floor in second gear at 50 or so mph with 315/35ZR17 tires on the rear. It'll get a Coyote swap if the DOHC 4.6 ever takes a crap.
