Need help I.O.D. fuse blown

Recommended Posts

I think I have the same problem that wagntagn has a couple post below. I think my I.O.D. fuse is blown but I can't figure out how to get the plastic protector off the fuse to replace it.

What's the trick to pull the fuse out ?

BFI ( brute force and Ignorance). Use a pair of long nose pliers ..squeeze and pull out. Discard the plastic keeper.....it really isn't needed - or, "pop" the top piece off so that you retain the appearance of the frame (fast identification of the IOD) ...but you can pull the fuse through the top.
