Posted this morning and noticed a "warning points" under my name. Did I do something wrong? Looked on a few other posts and didn't see any one else having that under their name.

  4. As of today ISX has officially step down as the Second in Command (Administrator) and agreed to take a moderator role of the 2nd Gen 12V Cummins forums. ISX has provided a huge amount of information regarding the 12V cummins engines and the P7100 injection pump. I'm glad to see he didn't decide to completely retire but to stay on and support the moderators the best he can with spare time. Thank you ISX. As his replacement it will be Mulcher812 that will fill the void at Second in Command (Administrator) here. Which was kind of a shock when he piped up and was willing to step up to the plate and take care of Administrative duties. So thank you goes out to both of you (…

Just a friendly reminder... All you got to do is sit in the chat room for a short bit of time and typically people will come in and chat with you. Anyone can do this you don't have to be staff member.

Hey Gang... I added a bit of transparency to the main "content base" of the page to allow the background to bleed through a bit. If I need too I can cut it back even more. Right now set for 90% opacity. Let me know if this bothers you or not just playing with ideas.

  12. Yes gang... There is more updates happening. I'm staying up on all the server software and updating everything when I can so you might see some up and down time as I get these updates plugged in and operational. PHP is the language or script type that the forum software is built on. The server software translates this script to HTML and allows the Apache HTML server to display it to you. The PHP 5.4 is suppose to be fast and have better usage of memory and system resources. So be aware the system might be up and down for a bit till all is done.

Ok Gang. I'm still working hard at getting the site up to snuff. I've added most of the social media links into your profile all you have to do is add your URL to your profile and your link button will be displayed in your user information. Same thing with location and your real name. So take some time and update your profile page.

I'm proud to say after comparing forum.mopar1973man.com to a few other site and seeing where I stood with load times and overall scores I would quite shocked to see how large and heavy a few of the bigger site have gotten over time. I know they are commercial sites and heavily covered in advertisements but I can honestly say I provide more information to the members and less fluff with advertisements. http://gtmetrix.com/compare/phEnIM7w/3T4i3T5g/26fEhADP/lKqXJKBO

I'm back up to no good again. I'm back to customizing the style a bit more give it some zing but trying to lighten the code as much as possible. Yes, I remember to insert the truck of the month (Congrads to YabbaDoo). But I'm going to keep on tweaking the skin to get the most out of it. So don't be surprised if a color looks odd for while like the grey color in the post box here will change. I got to modify the code a bit. Oh yeah before I forget the screen now rolls up enough to see the background picture again.

Hey gang. I'm now going through the site and tweaking and tuning setting to improve site speed and abilities. So far I've got the fastest re-load time of 1.29 seconds. I'm going to have to continue to work at the software and clean up caching and other setting to knock it down taste more. http://gtmetrix.com/reports/forum.mopar1973man.com/5RKFTLjP Let me know if there is improvements in speed or problems that might come as well. Either way let me know.
