Ok Gang... I'm hard at work plugging away at the site improving it everyday... Yes everyday I'm putting several hours in to the coding... Real Name Well the first change I've done is in your profile now there is a place for your REAL NAME and its going to become a require entry for all new users. This is going to be used for your account over on the article database which requires a real name placement. So now if anyone wants to have account with the article database you can request for a account and I'll mirror your account from the forum. Keeps the spammers out and reduces my work load. I am having a heck of a time trying to get onto the site. I keep getting a message that the server is too busy and to try back later. It takes me a several tries to get on and when I post it kicks me back to that too busy page again.

Just to let all my cellphone user know I updated to Tapatalk 3.9.0 so the software is up to date. Like I said I'm doing my best to provide the best web site around!

Well sorry gang...There is just too many spammers trying to long into the article database and it take way too much of my time to sit here and validate the users against the forum database. What I have to do is do a email search and see if your email exist on the forum. If it did then you left as a member if not your tossed in the round file. Like this last batch I round filed 50 members and only 2 remained... :duh:So we need to come up with a idea on how to deal with registering for article authoring... I might consider making a forum or something... give me a hand guys/gals and let me know...

Hey gang...Ikeep doing my wandering through the site like I do every day and keep see wonderful tidbits of information getting lost to the black hole we call a forum. Like there is article tidbir on heater problems and such. I would like to start capture some of this stuff over to the article pages so you can use it again for helping other either here or at another web site you visit. What make it tough is only you guys/gals have actual done the work and know how the jobs were done so its up to you to create the write ups...So come on gang give me a hand and let pick up all the handy tidbit of information and create some articles from them.

I had to take some time guys and gals to blow my horn a bit and share the good news... forum.mopar1973man.com broke over 14,000 visitors a month and over 536 visitors just in the last day. When I fired up the vBulletin 3.86 back almost 2 years ago I was only bringing 150 visitors a day... Hey Gang... I'm working on cleaning up the site a bit more and get your profile page a bit more like your own kind of Facebook page more or less. Let me know what you all think needs to be changed and I'll work my magic a bit more. Just hit the My Profile link on the navbar to see your page. --- Update to the previous post... Also I'm curious if anyone want to add information to there profile... I can add in profile text box of any time so we can share information in the same manner like Facebook but only for us here. The key board on his computer has died and has to be replaced.....so bear with us while we make the necessary call and get a new key board up here. Mike, I figured out the problem.............I deleted some of the "older" attachments that were in the attachment folder. It said I could hold a whole lot more, but a deleted about 12 or so, and "SHAZAM"; everything is back to normal on my end for doing the picture thing. Will deleting those pix from the attachment file erase them from the threads/posts they were posted in???Anyhow, here they are. Tell me what you think. I'll get the T-shirt+truck as soon as I do laundry and find someone to take the pix for me!!! Later, and thanks for the help.Joe

Great Forum Michael. I have been searching the archives a lot and this is by far the best Cummins forum for me. I am not a speed demon, I just want to maintain my own truck and keep it reliable for a long time. Just a thought though. Would it be possible to modify the search so it only searches titles and posts while not searching the signatures? I like the signatures, but when I try to search for more obscure stuff it takes a bit longer if I search for common items like "Edge Juice" or "SouthBend Con OFE." Thanks! -Mike

Ok Gang... I'm trying to lighten my load a bit here. When I first started the site it was fun exciting to build HTML pages and keep theing up to date. Well now its becoming a pain in the rear. Trying to keep up with all the new xHTML code or the HTML5 code is hard for me. So what I'm doing is converting the static HTML pages over to CMS (Content Management System) software. So at this point you guys/gals that I give access to can update your articles at will you own way. You'll be able to add links to suppiers or parts and much more.
