Just wondering what all i need, how long of pieces i need to do the crankcase vent mod in the article page for the 24 valve 2nd gen

That's why I was stoked to find the flexible pvc, I think it strikes a good middle ground for those who just run straight down. Cheap too

Maybe this should be more self-evident and I'm just not getting it, but why the NPT fittings on the back side of the mod? Just a preference? You're not attaching another hose to it. Or is it an attempt to direct the oil just a little bit farther back?

 

I didn't think I needed this mod, but I began inspecting my radiator this past week and realized that it has hidden the amount of build up of oil and dirt on the back side. Plenty of Simple Green is on the shopping list this week to use to soak and re-soak the radiator and then flush it with the garden hose.

 

Good thing I love this truck. It likes LOTS of maintenance.

No way to install of remove the mod without breaking it into 2 pieces. So you make the rear down pipe a removal piece and and it can be easily unscrewed and removed.
