My speedo  , Tach , amp and temp gauges ,brake and air bag light  all quit working at same time. Oil pressure and fuel gauge still work . 

Forgot to mention what my drive is , 1998 ram 2500 4X4 automatic trans . Just had trans rebiult 2months ago

Any thoughts as to why everything on right side of cluster stopped working ? maybe burnout on back of cluster or is there some other control for this whole area ?

Might want to do a cluster test.

My speedo cluster is analog ... no testing this is there ? 

Sorry Michael , I stated my truck as being 1998 , It is a 1997 . My speed cluster is I believe analog . There are no testing procedures for these are there ?

Is the alternator charging? if not you have a problem with the engine speed sensor, if the PCM doesn't get a signal from the ESS it doesn't know the truck is running. Check the gap between the ESS and the engine damper quick easy way to set the gap is to use a business card between the ESS and the damper.
