Are they still in business? Tried calling twice and left messages, Friday and Monday. I also emailed them, does anyone have a better number that actually goes to the business not a automated answering service?

Make sure you get ahold of @pepsi71ocean and give a review of this ECM/PCM provider. Need to keep a running tally of different shops and reviews. This helps other get good idea where to go.

That's exact same impression I had. I have a spare ECM I got for a decent deal. Guy I got it from said truck ran fine aside from a knock, maybe bad injector/ cylinder and he was parting it out. It had

So far my final conclusion, ACS are more than able to fix/program things, it's just you better be sure to what you want and be as specific as possible when you get things repaired. Otherwise they will

My 01 ecm label on the plug - front side says Cummins recon , with bar 3 codes , part # , serial# , and date code , that label has RX after the part#

The label on the back , engine side ,has 3 similar bar codes but no RX , so I`m guessing its an original label , I like that because it gives me hope it has a better file memory than a older one .

The ACS  re-man one is now painted black with only a label of ACS stating part# ,vin # which is not really relevant to the engine ecm , and mileage which is for warranty and is purely an honor system , because its not stored  in the ecm

I never gave my ecm any thought before 2016 , never a problem since I owned it -2000 , but I was told by Cummins in `15 that the ecms that Cummins has are all re-cond .mine is date coded 2012 ,I bought it in `16

I know that in the western states that back when I got my block replaced at Cummins in 06 , Cummins was privately owned as a franchise , in 2015 I was told they are owned by Cummins and seem to have different maybe self imposed rules about Dodge , was told they cant even have a Dodge FSM  , and cant have access to the files in the ecm , but can pull files directly from your ecm and install them on one you buy from them , maybe not a good idea if they are corrupted in a bad ecm . Cummins now wont touch anything but the motor ,at aleast at Cummins Pacific in CA and Cummins Intermountain in NV. When they replaced the block they were into the Dodge up to their elbows .

I would still prefer to get one from Cummins because they are fanatical about only selling parts that your vin refers to your engine id# for .To get a 01 ecm from them I had to give them a erroneous vin form a guys 01   and have them search the block# and ecm# for it ,it came blank

Mine looks like that still. But I heard that Cummins won't touch it because it's a Dodge project.

I had a small shop in Tenessee get mine for me. Thats where it broke down when the second rebuilt gave.He told me it came from Cummins but I never asked who programmed it.
