Ok I have a 97 dodge 12v cummins with the 47re 4 speed auto I'm have shifting issues and no overdrive it has a big delay in shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and sometimes I dont have my 4th gear  . The speedo does not work and od off light stays on with the trans temp light . I replace all the electrics in the 47re with filter and accumulator spring and the output speed sensor  on transmission and the sensor on the transfer case . Does anyone know what this could be could it be any other sensors or pcm or could the tranny be going out

Check the wires and connection from the trans to the PCM.  When I was testing my trans with the trans unplugged from the PCM I would have the trans temp and O/D light on.  If the connections are good then have the PCM tested.
