I have 130, 000 miles on the truck in my sig with the stock transmission. The transmission doesn't seem to be slipping, but if I upgrade to 100 hp sticks can I get away with just a converter and valve body from a reputable company like dtt.

nevermind.. I let my typing engage before I finished reading...you should still be "ok", for awhile, anyway. You'll just need to stay conscious of how the trans feels, and learn it's limits until you can step into a fully built unit.

Do I really need a triple disk converter, or can I get just use a single. I see that DTT's single has a pretty high horse power rating.

dont HAVE to have it..but if you upgrade later..you wont have to have the tranny removed again..call them and see what they have to say:smart:
