Just bought this truck and it is a good truck but I get this vibration from the engine, especially at idle on the steering wheel. That`s the place I notice it most although it vibrates at other places as well but not as much as on the steering wheel., it does not skip, in fact it runs and starts great. Could this be a broken motor mount or something? After I start driving it almost stops the vibration until it`s back to idle again. Harmonic balance maybe? Tx.

The flex plates are known to crack. Just look at the engine mount bolts to see if there has been any movement,"Highly unlikely" and inspect the dampner if the rubber is squashing out or severely deteriorated then I would replace it with a fluidamper. These engines are internally balanced so it won't cause any harm but it just takes up small vibrations to smooth things out. Look at all the cab mounts and make sure they are not broke.
