When I pulled my 5th wheel trailer this weekend and when I turned the steering wheel, a couple times I got this jerky or shudder turn like it wanted to stop turning and I could hear a grinding sound like a pully going out might sound like. It did not do it every time and has only done it once while not towing but I do get a vibration at idle in the steering wheel all the time, flushed the PS system. New fluid. What say you, guys. mileage?sounds like the spool valve in the box may be unhappy.assuming fluid level is good and all cavitation has settled out since the fluid change of course.

That was my first thought too is spool valve and the fluid being wore out possibly got debris caught up somewhere in the system.
