Non OEM Alternator

I'd like to identify an alternator... it's retrofitted to a Detroit diesel... actually in a 1950's narrow guage switcher locomotive. Undoubtably the original charging system was a generator.

The alternator has the numbers RAY213-4011-SW. It has a built in Regulator.
