07 5.9 auto. I was told by Dodge that when parked at idle I should be able to reset my avg mpg and it will read zero. My 05 does exactly that but my 07 will flash back to whatever the old avg was and then start recalculating. Any experience with this issue is welcome.

My 06 does the same. My friends 05 will go to 0 and recalculate from there. Guess it started the difference in the 06 models.
