Installed on my truck and mpg readings are way way way off. Any one else have this issue?? Was thinking about sending it back and getting a dif pod for guages any ideas??

Called the place i ordedred the insight from and they said they have to get permission from edge to take it back. I explained it does not read right and they say that it has to be approved..WTF So I buy an Edge product that dont work and its my problem that its crap.

Have you been updating and entering your actual mpg's into the insight? I believe the more data you enter the closer your mpg reading becomes to actual.You might also call the Edge tech folks. Anytime I've called they have answered my questions and have been very helpful.Also there has been a software update so they will need your serial number tio make sure yours is up todate.

Ive entered everything I seen I could. as far as updating It would not update and I was unable to find info on what I was doing wrong to update

Call the Edge folks. I had to give them my serial number of the unit and then they had to update their server with it so when I connected to update then the server would recognize it and give you the down load.Everytime you fill up with fuel then you add that data to your edge (before you pull away from the pump).

The OBDII may not report correctly, and thus the fuel rate may not ever be accurate. I know my 05 isn't accurate, and I am not sure on the 03's. It's an OEM programming issue. So if it doesn't work, it may be normal and they probably wont take it back. As for updating I would call their support line.
