Hey Guys,So my dash lights and headlight switch lights are out. The 5amp fuse that protects that circuit is popped and I replaced it, it popped within 30 minutes of replacing. Is this caused by a bad headlight switch? What tests can I do to find this issue? :shrug:Thanks

Something is shorted out for sure. The bad part is that all the bulbs are a dead short to a ohm meter so ohm testing is out unless you can unplug all bulbs which I think would be a PITA to do. I would assume starting with a visual inspection of all wiring and see if anything is rubbed through or damaged. Maybe a connector melted a bit?

Not sure if it matters but it's my gauge cluster lights and heater/ac control lights. headlight switch lights work lol. Ive done a quick inspection on the wiring and connectors. I've heard that when the headlight switch shorts out internally, stuff like my issue occur. Was hoping someone had a similar issue to guide me lol. Don't want to buy a new switch for no reason.

Let me know what you figure out, I have the same problem with mine!

It is entirely possible that you need a headlight switch and connector. The connector was melted some and you could see where the switch terminals got real hot. I tried to put a picture on here, but for some reason it won't load. The switch and pigtail is available at Auto Zone part number HL157.
