I'm going to grow quit a few different things. But my in-laws will also be growing other stuff too.

 

So, does anyone here own a greenhouse? Has anyone made a homemade one? I'm looking hard at an idea along these lines!

I'm going to try and see if there is other and cheaper ways to cut down the cost of building one without sacrificing strength.

 

I've also come to the conclusion that I think in order to keep costs down doing all this, I'm going to make this greenhouse big enough to do all my gardening in and not transplant to another area. Just grow everything in the greenhouse. But of course I will be adding this mulch idea as well.

 

If I have to, I've seen people make smaller greenhouses within the greenhouse to keep plants warm.

I had a coupla inches of sleet & snow on my onion sets but they're pretty tough.
