In an Effort to Keep all info in one place I have moved all the info into an article found HERE

Feel free to ask questions in this thread, but as I stated in the article I am not longer offering any support beyond what is covered in the article.  Jacob at DAP is the new Owner of Quadzilla and all support requests should be forwarded to him.

Thanks

Nick

PV is night & day. I did many box upgrades with my dual core 64 bit laptop. Just ran it in compatibility mode. PV IMHO MUST be done on a single core 32 bit XP puter. Not sure how the live distros

  • I noticed a large bump is MPG when I went from dding at lvl 1/2 to lvl 10.    I averaged 2 mpg better on a long trip on 10 vs 2.  but you have to drive nice otherwise those numbers go out the window

I bought this forever ago from Extreme Diesel. Totally legit. It was probably 4 years ago. It worked until recently. After my truck was having huge battery issues. That's why I had thought a jumpstart killed it. The Van Akken thing has always shown up for me as the driver details when you plug in the Commander or the ADR. However. Once their software loads up the driver it changes the name of the driver. I am wondering if Van Akken wrote their software or maybe the drivers? Maybe that has something to do with their disappearance? At any rate, I did find the update that I downloaded from quadzilla forever ago. The one that fixes the temp reporting issues. That's the one I can't load. Is the one from the download site the same as the one I have from Quadzilla?

the update for the pv1 is 1.3.8.

Van Akken actually bought pv1 from quad back in the day.

Ok... I powered up my other other computer... I thought it had 7 on it but it had windows xp pro.  I DID get it to upload the update to the P1.  everything went smoothly.  No issues or hiccups.  I also got the ADR to update too.

However... Im on my third attempt at uploading to both and the damn thing still doesnt work.  Either no ability to edit (all ZEROS again) last time the thing wouldnt even power up. Trying again......   I was thinking about buying the parts for the ADR and replacing them just for grins and giggles.

good luck man.

I wish I had some more time to mess with a busted pv1, but life gets in the way.

aaaaand... Fail.  Still no go.  Was praying it was the parts....

If the PV1 is bricked will it still talk to the PC and go through the loading procedures?

Does anyone have the older version of software to back-date to?

So I am having a problem with my loved pv1:(

you had mentioned that if the boost values were off there was a fix. Well what about fuel pressure? I recently jumped in the truck and the fuel pressure was 24 to 27 psi which is not right, the day before this it was reading right @ 17psi (like it always did). so I unplugged the sensor and the quad is holding 13 psi with the sensor unplugged check the harness to the sensor and the airdog, the only thing I can think of now is the quad is not reading right? help please!!!!!!!!!

Hey my husbands Dodge truck just incurred a theft. They stole the Quadzilla Pulse V2 Control Monitor. Any idea where to get a replacement?

Sadly, you are gonna struggle to find one.

ebay or the classifieds if you can find out.  Might call Jacob at DAP and see if they have any on the shelves still.

I think there is a FP adjust in the pv1's.... but without a reading it shoudl read 0 psi regardless as it looks for a voltage, I think.

Sounds like the FP sender is shot. Did you have a snubber or needle valve on it?

Sorry I don't have any time to deal with this anymore.

My plate is way overflowing, dog issues, horse, home renovation.

I would guess your box is bad if all 3 pods won't change the power levels

Beyoned that I can't say.

thanks nick.
