JFYI guys..............Cooper Tire has finally gotten the LT255/80 R17E tire size out.  It's essentially a 33" tire that's not crazy wide.  They have it available in the Discoverer ST MAXX style.  Gonna really think about these when I need tires next.

Hey Dorkweed could you tell me how they affect your over all MPG number being you've been tracking all along. I'm really curious of the out come. Remember to GPS your odometer now.

It will be at least 1 year from now before I need new tires.................unless something drastic happens.  I don't have a GPS, but one of my Buds does, and on 1 of my NoDak trips, my truck was spot on according to his GPS for MPH and miles/distance traveled.  I've also got the Smarty which I can fine tune to tire size down to the .xx" for accurate speedometer readings.
