Could really use some help. The clutch on my truck starts to engage just a couple inches off the floor. It is a HD single plate clutch (don't know what brand, the guy who owned it previously just said it wasn't a SB or Valair. He doesn't know what brand it is) and if I'm not ready for it it bucks and chugs. I want it to engage a little higher. Can I adjust for this? How?

Thx in advance for any help.

Ya, he didn't replace the slave cylinder. So that's my quandary. If I replace the slave cylinder I might just replace the entire clutch and go back to an OEM or replacement stock style. I have no real use for this heavy of a clutch at this time.

I agree. If the clutch is working fine then I would leave it. The stock hydraulics do not have any kind of adjustment but if you go with an aftermarket set up like valair or SB then you will be able to adjust the pedal.
