To all who have bore such a sacrifice, words are not enough. For the price of freedom will never be FREE. The lives of ALL who have fallen, they took upon the ultimate sacrifice and were laid upon the alter for OUR Freedom and Liberty. God speed and His peace to the families and loved ones who truly are in remembrance of your sacrifice today.

    Well said!! My Pop passed on Memorial Day 2007 :cry: ... But, what better day than Memorial Day to go out for a Veteran :thumb1:  I miss you, Love you and think of you often Pop :pray:

    At times, esp. on memorial day, I catch myself avoiding thoughts of my dad, it's just that it's so deeply sad how he was killed in Vietnam at 35  leaving 7 of us kids. Tough times, it was for a lot of years afterward.

     

    But then I realize how most Americans are good people and since my dad died for all of us, think about everyone as family too.
