My seatbelt light usually stays lit even though I have my belt on.  i used to be able to just wiggle the buckle but lately that has stopped working or only works for a few minutes. 

 

Anybody else have this problem or know of an easy fix?

There is wiring going into the buckle. Cut the two wires and I do believe splice together. Just touch them together and see if the light goes out

I just take a small piece of wire an bridge the connector there there is no cut wires.
