The spring popped off the top hinge awhile ago and im tired of the door not staying open.

Personally I would just change the hinge out. I've tried doing that on a older car and fought for quite a while. End up crushing fingers and parts attempting to fix that problem.

Kinda what i was thinking....i havent messed with them before tho. Easiest way to remove it?

Probably get a floor jack with a board balanced on top. Set it up underneath the door and that way it will support the weight. It will probably be best to have a buddy there to help balance it while you unbolt and replace the hinges. That way you dont have to unhook any of the electrical wiring going to the door. All of this is just theoretical being I have never had to mess with the hinges on these trucks....
