Odd noise when shifting gears at higher rpms
Well i keep an eye on my fluid levels, i check them all about 1000 miles ago. I dont normally shift that high but on occasion i might be in a hurry lol. And i never said there was a new noise its been the same noise since i started this thread. ill check the tranny and wastegate tomoro and see where that goes.

Odd noise when shifting gears at higher rpms
Well it hasnt always made this noise and i have had the truck for 3 years and prior to injectors was pushing 30 psi normally, after injectors id say 35 or so but max ive ever got was 39. but the noise just recently started. If blow off valve is what you mean by BOV i dont have anything like that installed. but my dash decided to completly cave in two weeks ago as well so its really hard telling what im hearing but im pretty worried about it. im off wed thurs and fri so hopefully i can trouble shoot it

Odd noise when shifting gears at higher rpms
As far as the egts go i may hit 1200 for a few seconds when on it really hard, but there actually fairly managable for the modifications done, max boost id say is 39 psi. but the noise occurs between gears only while shifting at higher rpms. ill have to do more investigating when i get some free time from work. but ive heard turbo bark and the waste gate opening this does not sound like either of those. Ive never heard of the trans problem mentioned, i do have a built clutch but im almost positive its coming from the passenger side

Odd noise when shifting gears at higher rpms
When shifting gears around 2500 to 3000 i can hear an odd noise coming from the passenger side of my truck its doesnt sound like waste gate opening. im not sure how to explain it other than it doesnt sound good, maybe like a squealing type of noise

new dash and hvac box rebuild
So basically just to change the dash pad do i need to drop the dash down or can it be done while still installed?

Truck is all fixed but no power steering...
The Hydro boost along with power steering pump runs both brakes and power steering. There is an acumulator in the hydro boost that acts as a brake booster where it holds pressure in case of engine failure. Sometimes for whatever reason this wont hold pressure and cause you to not have brakes and steering. I recently had the same issue, I changed my power steering pump and after bleeding it for a long period of time it seemed to fix it but some people say that having the new fluid in it helps with the acumulator to hold pressure.
