Oil Analysis
The oil sample did look good but I could not see all the graphs. If you save your word doc. to a PDF then it would be viewable. I have used Blackstone but I prefer Oil Analyzers as they test for more stuff. Go here this is my Web Shots page I have collected some oil samples for other to look at. 2003 Dodge with 633k miles and still going.
ChuckI have a story for you I had Live Nation come to me with a transmission failure problem. If you do know they own Grave Digger monster trucks. The have been using Amsoil ATF for now 4 years with great success. Coan Transmission told them they would not slove there failures until they switched. They are very happy customers now.I wish I could convince some of my contact to get over there fears as he did.Bill

I am not looking to argue Amsoil recommends 25k. Go here in the service life on my web site and here is Amsoils. There are a lot of big rigs using it FYI. Go to my front page www.freeoilhelp.com There are several articles the Mack truck, refuse hauler using the DT466 the 8.2% is on class 8 trucks. There are more that is just a few. I have a 7.3 I have went 38k on one oil change with oil samples to justify that. It can be done the cost I look at the cost as it is worth it to me. You are obviously very particular or you would not have a truck doing so well. Well Done Bill

You guys have made my point the dodge with 633k went 40k on Amsoil no by-pass just Amsoils 2-EAO 80 filter which filters at 16 microns. The fact buying better oil does make a difference IMO high milage is attainable with good oil & good filteration. The poster using a by-pass filter with other oil just shows filtering the oil does helps you go longer on oil and drain intervals if he used Amsoil for instance and the bypass he could go 30k or more.Bill

There sump capacity is 3 times the 5.9 I would think this is a big factor in drain intervals. You said something about dirty oil that is were good filters come in. Here is an article you might like to read. Bill

I guess what got me was the 40k oil changes with the new filter at 20k. I have went 38k with my truck but was very reluctant to go any farther. I felt the soot was to thick for me anyway and i have a by-pass he did not.Bill

Losing my Home to Mold
If you catch it soon enough bleach is the best tool other wise if it get out of control demoing it is really the most efficient way. Like Joe did remove it i would burn it if it was mine. There is a special paint as well for clearing up that encapsulates it. I hope i picked the right spelling. Bill

Losing my Home to Mold
The Stachybotrys is black and can cause some serious health issues. I worked in the federal court house in St. Louis hanging all the doors and installing hard ware they had a real Stachybotrys case they had to totally wreck two floors down to the bare concrete. Plus the elevator shafts had it in it as well. You are better off in the house than a tent even if you have to pay a few tax dollars.Bill
