i put resistor @ pin #1 on the center plug on pcm cut wire about 2" from connector and soldered a 1k ohm resistor in .the problems i had were no lockup ond no overdrive the overdrive switch turned on and off but nothing would happen. the resistor fixed all of that so now i can put in a net temp sender and remove the resistor.what problems are you having

y dad has a 2001 automaticand has the standard piller gauges and behind his cup holder he has 2 amp gauges for his hho and a trans temp .its not a bad setup and has room for cups .

i am going to order the bosch 2 piece kit and also install a temp gauge while pan is off . on a side note the resistor told me that the tenp sender was bad and it only cost .99 and took about 5 min total cheapest trouble shoot ever

i just put a resistor in the temp line and now it shifts into overdrive and i get converter lockup. ? is there any adverse affect by leaving it with out changing the sensor and add a temp gauge in pan.should i change it any way and why in your opinions. thank you

Turbo Cap - Boost leak tester...
just did a boost leak test and had a bunch of leaks when you get it up to 30 LBS every thing leaks .the two terminal to the air intake heater started leaking @ 25 LBSi used a 4" gem cap and set the clamp about a 1/16" on to the back side of the barb on the turbo when you tighten it down it forces it back and gets it in really tight .used a 1/8" pipe tee and a schrader valve with a gauge fast and simple i have a crappy video but it is to large to upload sorry about bad pics its dark out side and lights cast shadows

99 cummins tach jumping no alt charge
- - midwest auto modules 760 warehouse rd unit e toledo ohio 43615 before the trans would not upshift unless i dropped it in to neutral and back in to drive but it would shift into od just fine. or if i stomped on the throttle it would shift just fine just fixed obd plug got code po234 never had that code before even with the super b single

got burned on both my ecm and pcm set them in to have rebuilt over a month ago and have not seen or heard anything so i bought a used ecm and a rebuilt pcm which was flashed with my vin and updates . alt charges and trans shifts. and down shifts.problems shifts at about 8 miles an hour and will not shift into overdrive drove 70 mph and no overdrive ,overdrive light turns on and off with switch any ideas have not pulled codes obd plug is fubared try to pull codes tomarrow

got burned on my ecm meaning set it in to have it rebuilt on have not seen or heard about it in over a month.:moon:but i just bought a used one and it solved all of my problems .

my dodge use to lope really bad some times when i put it in gear it would die . i changed the crank sensor and it stopped loping i dont rember why i changed the sensor it was a long time ago
