  1. I haven't posted the code yet, but I have finished up version 1.12. version 1.12 and above are for the arduino mega shield only as you need the extra inputs for various things. I need to fully test this version but I am waiting on a 5v relay to control the lockup. He351ve Freq 1.12 -Lockup control added on pin 53. Uses a 5v relay to ground the TCC lock wire. EB buttong is used to lock the TC. IF off the throttle lock + eb are engaged. If on the throttle only TC lock is enabled. -fix for altitude consideration put into place. On start boost and drive should change to 0 psi vs -4 at 7000'. 30 ish seconds of idle state will set the recheck for altitude. -frame work put into place to try and read PID values from the ecm. No functioning but you will see the base code for that.
  2. Well I am signed up for catfish junction.
  3. that's what I tried to point out to him..... lol.
  4. No worries, Spend some time in the general cummins article section under fuel. TONS of good articles.
  5. We have articles for this haha. HFRR https://www.dieselnet.com/tech/fuel_diesel_lubricity.php https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/general-cummins/84_engine/92_fuel_92/ Common MSDS scheets anti Gel Diesel Cetane
  6. I am not convinced that there is kerosense in 2 stroke. It doesn't make sense seeing as 2 stroke is put in place to lube a 2 stroke engine. Kerosene does not decrease hfrr so why would they use it?
  7. There is a body of water next to the site. Nothing better than a river to cool you off.
  8. I think we just stick with catfish then.
  9. I don't need full shade, just enough to take a nap under
  10. What is the high side of the normal bracket? I have never compared temp vs the upper end
  11. agree'd if I am driving 1000 miles I dont mind a few more to get to a better site. I like the catfish place, but I dunno whats in the area.
  12. I have added a TCC lockup section of code now. I figured I might as well connect the EB and TC lockup into one button. How it works is if you push the EB button, and TPS is under %5 then you will get lockup and eb functions However if you push the eb button and TPS is above %5 then you will just get Lockup. So it should function more so as a lockup function that applies the eb if you let off the throttle.
  13. maybe i'll just steal your shade hahahaha.
  14. Nah, I just used very aggressive cleaner and some semi high pressure water. It really blew out a lot of junk. http://www.shopwurthusa.com/wurthstorefront/Chemical-Product/Cleaning-and-Care/Degreasers/Citrus-Degreaser-18-Fl-Oz/p/0890924 This stuff is worth it's weight in gold
  15. Well a bit of a report on temps. Prior to cleaning, taking the camper up the pass, at 90* f ambient , would get coolant temps of 215-220*f After cleaning, same route, same load, same temp, coolant sat right at 200*f
  16. Then it looks like all requirements are met. looking at the map I guess it doesn't matter much as all places are close to each other.
  17. I am pretty picky about my camping. I require 3 things..... non negotiable, 1. Beer 2. A place to Fish AKA water. 3. Shade
  18. Once you guys get your plans figured out let me know........ The only good rattler is a dead rattler they do taste great though. but really someone tell me what to do. I don't need power or hookups
  19. I decided I better clean my radiator before this weekend's camping trip since the truck has been getting up to 210 pretty easy as of late. I didn't wanna drain coolant so I just pulled the fan and the shroud and went to town on it while it was installed. A good bit of junk came out and I am happy to report that I can now just leave the tuner turned up and cruise up the pass without any heat issues. 25psi all the way up the pass doing 45 in 3rd. Truck ate it up
  20. Alright, I have finished bench testing the max TPS feature and it is working pretty nice. It will output whatever your current TPS is * what you have set for max tps. IE: max setting of 20 will give you 16% tps when you have the pedal at 80% max setting of 50 will give you 40% tps when you have the pedal at 80% I have done some more smoothing on the TPS increase to slow it down more at low TPS values. This will take some more seat time to figure out how to best handle it. posting the current code in the download section for safe keeping 1.03 beta
  21. I got just a I2C I think it is 8 bit it might be 16, dunno. It was just some cheap ebay unit that was the same spec wise as the spark fun unit. nope 12 bit actually http://www.ebay.com/itm/181929145981?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  22. I finally have some behind the wheel time with this. some kinks need to be worked out still, but overall the base concept is working great. You can plant your right foot and it just rolls into it smoke free. Using PWM to send a Voltage to the ecm is not going to work though, It is not exact enough and tends to float, so you get some TPS jumping. I have a arduino DAC coming to solve this issue.
