Wiring up a set of driving lights
Hi, I know this must be in here somewhere but can't seem to find what I need. I would like to wire my DRL's up to a switch (on off on ) so up is on with the high beams and off in the center and on all the time with the down position. Anybody have the proper wiring diagram for this?

I would like a chip for my 02
Well the last couple days I have been doing a little research on tuners/chips. I have to say I am more confused now than ever. Everyone's tuner is the best. I have decided that $350.00 bucks or so is my limit. I know I could spend $1000.00 if wanted but it seems that all that gets are useless gadgets that will be looked at once and thats it. I read that one tuner has games in it. Imagine that now, who in their right mind would buy a tuner with games in it? Anyway enough of the ranting. It seems that I have a number of choices such as Banks, Superchips, Hypertech and Quadzilla. There are probably 10 others that I haven't found yet I am sure. I would say fuel economy is priority and then a bit of power for towing of which I do occasionally. I don't want to tear the wheels off my truck, I like it too much to do that. I am leaning towards Banks, good name, been around for years. Also Superchips are in the same bracket, although I think the Banks and Superchips are one and the same. These products seem to do exactly the same as their $600 counterparts. There is also Quadzilla, I like the USB update thing, good idea. So anyone at least give me a subjective opinion?

Well probably is good stuff but $800 bucks is kind of steep for that.

I would like a chip for my 02
I do not have OBDII but if it was available maybeEasy adjustI tow occasionally but when I do heavyI keep stock tirespay as little as possible of courseMy truck is a daily driver and I am not looking to get the most HP as possible or anything such as but I would like to have fuel mileage gains. I live in Canada and there are chips to buy here but they are $500 for just a simple plug in use it once type of thing. Over priced here as usual.

I would like a chip for my 02
Hey, anyone have an opinion on a good "all round" chip for my 02 Ram? I don't want a tuner or the ability to adjust on the fly or anything like that, I just want good fuel milage and maybe a bit more torque and HP if that is a by product. There seems to be so many and prices are all over the place with them. I have been kind of looking at the Quadzilla Max Mileage. Anyone had any expierience with that particular product? I know there are plenty of different manufacturers but I like the USB update feature.

No air from blower
I will have to look it over I guess, I know there is a spray that can be bought that is supposed to disolve dust pet hair and all that stuff from your heater core or condensor but I am not sure that if it is possible to get at it to spray?

No air from blower
You have got to be kidding! Is there no way to clean that thing without disassembling the whole truck? What happened to the old days when it was a plastic cover under the dash? That means I have to evac the AC and then charge it up again and that seldom ever goes right.

No air from blower
Not sure if this has been answered before but I could not find anything. I have a 02 2500 5.9 diesel and I don't seem to be able to get any volume out of the dash vents. This seems to be more on AC so I guess it could be Icing up maybe? It never really seems overly forcefull even when first turned on. I have checked the vacuum hose on the firewall and I can hear the doors closing in the heater compartment so not sure what the trouble is. How much trouble to get apart?

Fuel Pressure
So my F Pump on my 02 is in the tank, someone must have changed it. I would say the dealer but I installed a FP gauge and found that I only had about 7lbs at idle. I decided this was not enough so ordered a new pump. I actually ordered one for the block because I did not know the in tank one had replaced the original as I have only had the truck a month or so. I hooked it up on Saturday and found the new one on tne block would not suck fuel through the tank pump and the tank pump would barely push fuel through the other one. So I decided to hook them both up. Now I have 25-30 lbs at idle and WOT is at least 20lbs. I am thinking that this may be too much so I called Cummins and they said that this was no problem and they (Cummins) hook them up that way all the time instaead of removing the fuel tank to get at the old pump. They also said that the only thing is I may experience "harder starts" as the pressure might float the valves in the IP. I do not have this proplem, it starts great as always and I think the truck is more responsive (power) Anyone care to comment on hooking these up this way?
