  1. Yea they've been one since I bought it, And I've checked all connections, chased all the wires making sure none were broke or shorting out.
  2. Both abs/brake lights have been on the entire time I've owned the truck and the brakes lock up when you slam on them so I assume abs doesn't work., but the other day was the 3rd time I've had to lock up brakes with a loaded trailer and I'm tired of sliding
  3. Im the buddy with the expensive snapon tool, just need to learn how to use The live data stuff
  4. Hmmmm I guess I need to read the manual on this scanner to find out how to do live data recording. Hopefully it's one of the front wheel bearings and not the rear diff tone ring.
  5. I know the classic abs/brake lights, one of the many curses for these truck but here we go. replaced both front sensors, replaced the sensor in the rear diff, checked all the wiring, checked the switch for the e-brake, brake fluid is good, all calipers work as they should. Recently came into a good scanner that could read ABS codes and hooked it up, it'll read engine no problem but not abs. Is it possible that the abs module is mad and not allowing the scanner to read and that's why the lights are on? (I also thought maybe it doesn't work but I read the codes on the jeep and the other ram, found out those issues so I know it works.)
  6. I wish!! But I wouldn't say no to a new hooded jacket ?
  7. I believe I still have the order papers at home, when I get home tonight Ill check and post them
  8. I'll have to give that a shot, hopefully they are willing to give up some information about them
  9. Etrailer.com was the cheapest around when I purchased them.
  10. Incase anyone wondered how they fit or looked inside the truck, they seem well built and should last a long time. Fit tight along the lines of the seats so they don't slide all over getting in/out or pushing clutch in.
  11. It's definitely nice up here, still getting used to where stuff is and where places are
  12. Recently moved up to to whidbey island, Washington and I'm looking for a few things to make life easier around the house and shop. Could anyone point me in the direction of good equipment, farm, or even estate sale auctions so I could possibly get some stuff? Im not finding to much by google or from people I work with because the general sense is "just buy new"
  13. If I remember correctly the day after We sent out the module for rebuild since it was bad, I was installing a new gooseneck in the truck and found a bad section of wiring, did end up repairing it and when the module came bad the lights went off within 5 mins of driving so it may of been one or both I'll never know, but I know what I did to resolve it!
  14. I will test definitely before sending out the the module.
  15. grandfather recently bought 95 ram 2500 4x4 with 2wheel abs at auction with the abs/brake light on, would like to take care of it since I'm assuming it has to do with the brakes fading the more you push them. So i grounded the wire wire under the dash to make the lights flash, looked at the chest chart I found online and hope someone can tell me how to fix 3, I'm assuming you only count the short flashes. 16. Shoot glad I know this information now! Thanks for heads up guys before I start tearing into things, I'll definitely ground it out before I assume a bad light now.
  17. I thought mine might have been doing the same thing, put it up on the lift and they all turn when locked it 4h or 4l. Gunna tear into the dash this weekend, hoping for a burnt bulb before I start chasing wires.
  18. im assuming these truck have a 4x4 light since the CAD on the front has a switch to activate the light. But I've looked all over the dash and never see a light on whenever it's in 4x4, It works fine also. I also know the switch works cause I needed to test something in my 95 1500 the other day. Can anyone take picture of there dash with the 4x4 light or tell me where is should be, I'm thinking the light is burnt out but no clue where it is. thanks!
  19. the video from PRI showed it had 2 pumps in it, explained it some. Might still have to call them if they don't have it on the site yet. edit: found the video I watched on it, skip to 3:30 to get right to it.
  20. Fleece performance just came out with there new factory intank pumps, they look great and act like stock. Supposed to hold up to 800 horse.
  21. That makes me feel better then about towing in 6th then the times I've done it. Glad I only did it only did it highway though when I could keep it up in higher rpms. It's good to hear others have done the same.
  22. Ok that's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure, that's what I keep an eye for in my th400 in the mud truck too. I usually run in 5th pulling any heavy weight to help prevent really high temps so I don't have to deal with melting bearings or gears together and I'm glad I have been!! Glad I've been running 5th then when I pull a trailer. Sounds like imm be running roughly 210* range just to keep things safe.
  23. Next weekend when I drop the trans to install a new southbend I'm installing fast coolers and a trans temp gauge also. What should be considered hot for these trans? I'm running royal purple syncromax if that makes any difference.
  24. I couldn't agree more, the most this truck will ever see power wise though is MAYBE 400hp just to keep it simple as possible but make decent power for towing That sounds like a good choice for me then! I'll look into that model
