    had mine done.
  2. Called AAA today to get a jump start. The guy shows up with a battery pack, hooked it up and nothing. Calls another AAA guy for cables. I offered mine so now I have 2 trucks hooked up with jumper cables, one on each battery and 2 battery packs, one on each battery. Tried to start it and still nothing, this was un-real. I'm looking at it and said maybe if you take the battery cables off the battery and clean them it would work. Last time I had new batteries installed the guy broke the neg. battery connection, so he put a adapter on the end. The AAA guy takes the adapter off and cleans it, puts it back on and says give it a try. I hit the key and it fired right up, no battery pack, no jumping cables. There was enough power in my batteries only to start it. I can't believe what a dumbbell I am. Anyway, thank you all for the advise.
  3. I checked the voltage, 11.9v. each battery. When I turn the key on to start it, nothing, no dash lights, no nothing.
  4. I just went out and tried to start the 04 truck, the first cold morn of the season and I know the batteries were a bit low. It turn over slow then stopped, nothing, won't turn over at all. Now with the key out there is a small red light near the oil gauge and a buss noise going on and off. I never seen anything like this before. Help!

My truck is running great at about 19-20 at start up.
  6. I see 19-20 psi at start-up, go's down to 17-18 psi around town, 14-16 psi on highway, it will drop as low as 10 psi under WOW or towing my trailer but only for a second or two.
  7. Has anyone rebuilt a Holly Black, (Blue or Red) fuel pump. Is it had to do, were to get parts, is it worth it. I was looking at a Big End Black, (I think that's what it's called) for $91 shipped to my door. Made by Holly, looks the same as a Holly Black with the same spec. Any advise?

I installed a rebuilt Holly Black fuel pump, works good, at start-up it reads 20-21 psi, driving around town 17-18 psi, the highway 14-15 psi. The pump I just took out was a used Holly Black and I got 4-5 years out of it. I'm not sure if I should pick up another pump or try and rebuild this one myself. Anyone ever rebuild a Holly pump, any advise?

OK, it's 42* today so I changed the 2 fuel filters and it reading 4-5 psi. Not good, this truck always read 14-15 psi. Down to 9-10 at WOW. I can hear the Holly Black pump running and the truck seams to be running ok, maybe it's the fuel pressure sensor going bad, it is a Quadzilla Commander.

I'm using a Baldwin BF1212, 9 micron near the fuel tank and a Baldwin PF7977, 5 micron up front in the drop-in. It was in the 20's that night but has warmed up and it still only reads 2-3 psi. The next 2 days it will be pushing 50 so I'll be on my back in the driveway changing out the Holly Black pump for another Holly Black. I'll be changing the filters also.

Went out this morning and only had 2-3 psi. I drove it to the store and back, no problem. It was cold last night and I'm due for new fuel filters, maybe some waxing on the dirty filters. Maybe it's my Holly Black fuel pump, it's been in there for about 5 years now and it looks like it is weeping a little on the bottom. I have a rebuilt Holly Black under the back seat. Not sure what to do?

OK, I got the Quadzilla out, cleared all the codes with my scanner and took it for a hard ride under WOW and no new codes. Looks good so far, keep my fingers cross.Anyone looking for a good deal on a Quadzilla????????????

This is like The Never Ending Story" for me! I've been getting these codes for years. I clean the 2 sensors put them back and in a few weeks and the codes come back. I both 2 new sensors and it was good for 6 months. I clean them and get a few weeks. So I replaced them again about a year ago and the codes are now back again. Now I clean them two days ago with sensor cleaner and can't clear the codes with my scanner. Today I go out there and unplug the Quadzilla, plugged in the Quadzilla end plug, put my scanner on it and was able to clear the codes. Whats up here, is this Quadzilla my problem? I no longer have the install direction, how do I un-install it? Also can I remove the Quadzilla and leave the Quadzilla Commander? I'm not sure if they are connected together. I now have 6 IAT sensors, 3 that go on the air filter and 3 that go into the manifold. - - - Updated - - - I just went out for a ride, made a few stops, put it under WOW a few times and the check engine lite is back on, PO237 & PO069 MAP/BARO Correlation, now what is that?
  14. I've been using Wally World 2 cycle oil at 3/4oz. per gal. fuel from day one on this truck and have 130k on the clock with no problems.

I replaced my shocks about 2 years ago and at the time they didn't have Bilsteins shocks for 2 wheel drive 3rd gen's, so I went with the only Heavy duty shocks out there, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, they weren't half bad for the first few months but went down hill fast after that, After 2 years they are junk, rusted and give a bad ride. What are the best shocks out there now without breaking the bank?
