post brake and wheel bearing job
Well i know its not the brakes, ball joints or track bar. They either have been replaced or double checked by someone other then me. The sound seems like its coming right out of the rim. If it is a control arm how do you check it for 1? Any idea how much it cost to fix for the other?

Wanting 30-50 more HP
My truck has about 130k on it. It had over size tires on it till about 125k on it. The steering has had parts replaced on it 2 times. Upper and lower ball joints both sides. It is a automatic trans. Between 35mph and 40 it was always jumping in and out of overdrive. It seemed like it was always hunting for the right gear when slowing and then excellerating. I have never towed anything just haul heavy stuff from time to time. I never saw anything better 16mpg. I went back to the stock tire size about 5k ago. With no other changes my truck the shifting problems are gone. My mpg has gone up to 18.5. My truck excellurates faster, gets better mpg, steers better, and has much better ride. I see no gain in having larger tires other then a stiffer ride, more expence. When you change tires size. You mess with the gearing tomuch. A larger heaver tire is harder to rotate hence loosing power. Just my 2cents on larger tires. Sorry for the bad grammer

post brake and wheel bearing job
just got done changing front brake rotor and pads. why'll doing it found the driverside wheel bearing was bad. strange to me because the truck always wanted go to right? but anyway back to the problem. the first time i hit the brakes why'll moving forward there is a clunk sound coming from the front end. but does not do it again inless i go backwards and the first time i press the brake it does it again. but no more until i go forward and hit the brakes again. any ideas on this? and yes i tightened everything to the proper torgue spec.

b-20 fuel
i haven't seen anything latly about using b-20 fuel. over long term is there anything bad that will happen to my truck? i live just outside of chicago so i could use it almost year. there is a mobile gas station on my way home from work so its easily availble. besides the better mpg it is ussually a little cheaper then #2 diesel. so i guess the real ? is. use it yes or no?

High idle and vp44 throwing codes
I bought the high idle switch resently and installed it about five days ago. When i first installed it i did not disconnect the batteries. yes I know i was supposed to. I have no excuse. When i first started the truck all was good. Turned it to mpg mode. Heard the engine change the timing. Assumed all was good. I wanted to see if the high idle part would work. Left in that mode for 5 minutes. no change:( figured high is not engaged on my truck. Turned switch back to mpg mode. Thought no big deal i bought it for the mpg mode anyway. Turned truck off and left it for the day. Next day went to go to the store the wts light would not go off but truck started. When i got home i shut it off and turned the key back on. wts light stayed on again. turned the switch to the off position all remained the same. I knew it was not working properly. So i disconnected the batteries, rechecked the connections. And rerouted the wires for the high idle switch away from other wires and far away from the altinator as i could. Left the batteries disconnected for 30min. reconnected everything now when turning the switch from off to mpg you feel the change in the timing happen and the wts light is now going off very quickly. I hope this means everything is okay and working as intended. I would like to think all this was just do to the fact i did not disconnect the batteries the first time like i was supposed to. sorry in advance for my very very poor grammer
