It's definitely in the bottom end. Is there a specific rebuild kit anyone recommends? Which pistons and rods? I appreciate all your input.

Morning Gents. Following is a YouTube link of truck going down the road. Speed dependent tick/knock. Started happening after I installed water/meth injection and wasnt smart enough to dial timing way back. Since symptoms manifested I've redone valve lash, retorqued exhaust manifold bolts and both hotside turbo mounts. I'm not saying this is gospel. I'm saying I increased timing 1deg across the board and computer is up 6mpg compared to last trip to Denver and back. What's max safe timing? I've done arp400 studs, 103 springs, compounds, pushrods, 7x.012injectors, sovp44 on ho 02 nv5600 2500 with dual disc valair 650 . Thinking motor mounts need attention and maybe traction bars. Current tune is 100 fuel till 5psi then starts climbing, on road now, will send timing curve asap. All suggestions welcome. 120 mile trip.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I'll try your suggestions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bring smoke, that's the whole reason I bought the quad when I went to bigger injectors. The edge was smokey with 50hp injectors if I didn't control with skinny pedal. I guess I'm trying to limit the parameters that will be dynamic so that I can better understand how the quad behaves. I want to get a tune that I like, with no timing modifications and minimize variables, then start bringing different control options back in play, one at a time. It's one thing to read about low boost timing drop, but if I know that's the only thing I'm allowing to change I'll be better able to learn what that sounds like and feels like so I'll be able to tell when something is wrong. Does that make sense? I need to relearn the truck so I can better troubleshoot and diagnose potential and future problems. Thank you again.

Hi all. I've been lurking for a while. Can someone help me understand tps min and max for wiretap? I'm trying to create a tune similar to edge comp on 5x5 wiretap. I like that the quad keeps out smoke, but I'm wanting full wiretap really early, after 5 psi or so, prefer to control the rest with throttle. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
