If i could hold 65 to 70 without being down to 58 to 60 climbing the slightest hill i would be fone with that. The only reason i am running 75 is so that i dont lose all my momentum. If im not mistaken my timing should be right around what you are suggesting. At this point do you thing 150hp injectors will help or hurt my situation?

Pull down canbus across the board? Maybe 2 each psi?

Not currently but they will be ordered at the same time as the new injectors. I will be ordering them in the next week or two.

Alright guys so i have been pretty busy with work and cant get logged into my old account so i made a new one. Yall were helping me back around September/October of last year. Since then i have swapped out the map sensor so i think that issue has been solved but now im looking to squeeze some more mpg out of the truck. I recently weighed my truck at the scales and it weighed 11250, quite a bit heaver than i was expecting but in my line of work i wont be able to shave much weight without leaving a lot of tools at home. So currently i have been averaging 15.2 to 15.5 mpg pretty consistently with speed between 68 and 75. I know most people will say to slow down but if i go much slower its harder for me to maintain speed without dropping down to the low 60s and becoming a road block even in the slow lane. If the speed limit is 70 most people drive 75/80. If you have ever driven in Dallas during rush hour you know what im experiencing. lol I have been as low as 13 but that was towing a trailer and thru some stop and go traffic/hills. I am thinking i can squeeze some more mileage out of this heavy pig so i would like some suggestions on what to do with the tuning to see what y'all think will be beneficial. Here is the current tune. TUNE PARAMETERS Number of Power levels: 7 RPM Limit: 3200 VALET MODE PARAMETERS Maximum Valet Mode Power: 50 PUMP TAP PARAMETERS Maximum Fuel Stretch: 1800 TPS Pump Maximum: 100 TPS Pump Minimum: 30 Minimum Pump Tap Fueling Percentage: 0 Pump Low Boost Scale PSI: 10 Boost Scaling: 38 TIMING PARAMETERS Fuel Load Timing: 2 Low PSI Timing Reduct: 1.5 Timing Reduct Scaling: 100 Light Throttle Timing Adv: 1 Light Throttle Timing Load Limit: 37 RPM TIMING MAX 1500 RPM: 15 2000 RPM: 18 2500 RPM: 23 3000 RPM: 25 Max RPM:26 BOOST LEVEL FUELING - CAN BUS 0 PSI: 107 1 PSI: 109 2 PSI: 111 3 PSI: 113 4 PSI: 115 5 PSI: 119 6 PSI: 122 7 PSI: 125 8 PSI: 128 9 PSI: 130 10 PSI: 134 11 PSI: 137 12 PSI: 140 13 PSI: 143 14 PSI: 145 15 PSI: 148 16 PSI: 150 18 PSI: 150 20 PSI: 150 22 PSI: 150 24 PSI: 150 26 PSI: 150 28 PSI: 150 30 PSI: 150 I would like to be around 16.5 to 17mpg average and i would be extremely happy with the current setup. I will be stepping up to 7 x .010s in the not to distant future in anticipation for a set of hx35/s472 compounds. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I've been moving cruise timing around a bit but it doesn't seem to change mileage much. If there is any info I have missed please ask. I will post a data log tomorrow to see if anything stands out.

Alright one last shot. There may not be anything in this one because I accidentally killed the connection before I exported. iQuad-2017-09-26-08.09.56.csv Judging by the file size it think it's just idling. Anyway i wired the wastegate shut and swapped out the map sensor with a backup I had. I think the map is the culprit. I will run a test again tomorrow. To dark right now to be driving stupid. Lol

How about now? Higher boost or still the same thing? iQuad-2017-09-26-05.07.10.csv

Yes. It is turned all the way in. FYI, once i know I can go over 40 I will set the tune to defule at 35 to be safe. Lol Won't that also mean I need to drop my boost scaling to 35?

So, if I pull and plug the reference line to the waste gate it should stay closed correct? Just to verify it's the waste gate?
-
Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
Alrigh, one thing to mention is that during this run I did have the egt defuel set to 1400. Could that have caused it to drop? I will check out the wastegate and see what I can come up with.

@Me78569 Here is a data log of some WOT pulls. 2(x) 0 to 90ish and 1 50 to 90. Let me know what you think. iQuad-2017-09-26-02.08.06.csv

I gotcha. I normally fire my truck up and let it run for a few minutes in the am before I leave. Sometimes as long as 20 when I'm loading my truck with what I'll need for the day. I have a 6spd so I'll row thru the gears and see what we come up with. Thanks for for all the help @Me78569 hopefully we will get this heavy pig moving pretty good. Lol @Carbur8tr I think this stuff is pretty easy to use it's just knowing what's safe or not is the issue for me. I don't have a lot of tuning experience at all but I'm very mechanically minded. I'm the kind of person who wants to know what kind of changes we are making and why we want to make them. Some people get annoyed with my questions but you guys are awesome. It must get confusing with all the different setups people are running. I get confused just trying to keep up with the threads. Lol keep up the good work guys. Looking forward to become a valuable member of this community.

Oh and I do not have my warmup temp set. Any suggestions? Also what makes you ask? Just curious. Lol Will do. What should I run it up to on the highway speed pull? Just max boost?

it must not have data logged. I will try the new timing you suggested. Since my timing at 2k is safe I will leave it at 18. I was just researching a boost leak tester. I will gather all the parts and see what I come back with. I will also make a few WOT runs and make sure I get them data logged.

I am having no drivability issues what so ever. Just was trying to keep my cruise timing in the 17.5 to 18.5 degree range as stated in the v2 in depth tuning. Just trying to make a good safe tune to run everyday with decent mpg. Once it's tweeked to my liking I'll start on a safe tow tune. Any idea as to why my boost tops at 27 psi? Can you see that in the data log? Do I need more timing on the top?

No problem. I will try and get a laptop to load it.

Is this the same for iOS devices? I can't get the tune to open in iquad from my phone.

So did some testing today. To verify the pump tap was working I set all the can bus to 100, 2200 stretch, minimum pump tap to 50%, low boost to 0 and have get a rev in neutral. Gave me a big puff. So I'm pretty sure it's working. I made two data logs today. One on the way into work and one on the way home. Couple things in noticed. Egts on the iquad are consistently 150 or more degrees hotter, boost pressure is consistsntly lower than my a pillar gauge by 3- 5 psi, and even with my timing setup in the following format I am still get 19 to19.75 degrees timing at less than 2000rpm. What gives? I'm not sure what I can do to bring the timing down. Also, boost still makes out at 30 on my pillar gauge and 27 on my iquad. Here are my data logs. I am limited to only my phone right now so I can open them. Could someone help me out with viewing them? iQuad-2017-09-25-05.55.39.csv iQuad-2017-09-25-06_55.28.csv

Since I posted earlier I have changed my timing settings to the following: fuel load timing:2 Low psi timing reduct: 3 Timing reduct scaling :100% light throttle timing adv: 1 light throttle timing limit: 35% 1500:16 2000:18 2500:22 3000:25 max: 26 should I pull throttle advance back to 0? It was my understanding that it's based off of 17* base timing so shouldn't 1 degree put me at 18 not 19.5? Is there someone I'm missing? also headstuds will probably the next thing on the list since I plan on bigger injectors and turbo in the not to distant future.

Alright. I'll drop down to level 3 again and try to make it haze pretty good. Is 19.5* timing at 1900-2000 rpm too much when cruising?

I'm leaving as hard as I can with out trying to slip the clutch. It's pretty agreessive and if I just stab the throttle I get a hiccup.
