  1. Yea I'm leaning towards vp44 theres a guy close to me with a few vp44s for sale anything wrong with putting a s/o pump on instead of a h/o

  3. Ok guys got my vacuum pump resealed, no more oil being pushed out the CCV, and got my vacuum lines replace so my heater works on all positions. Fixed the banjo bolt leak on the back of the head, and T fitting leak on the return line. But I still have a bad problem until the truck is fully warm it has no power still, and if the outside temp is below 40 it loses power bad. And still have a hard starting issue has to crank for around 20 seconds and then until it sets for about 3 hours itll stat back instantly. New batteries, cranks fast, new fuel filters, fass DRRP lift pump. 15psi fuel pressure idle, 9 WOT. Any ideas would help I'm thinking my VP44 is shitting the bed it's never been replaced.
  4. My quadzilla I think has some issue's I think?! Went through 2 IAT sensors within 2 weeks and both times it threw that code I switched to power level 7. Now just recently I've got map sensor issues some my plan is to replace the map sensor, go to a stock tune throw in some 275RV injectors and probably a BHAF or K&N replacement filter, only other mods are a Flo pro 4in straight pipe to 5in tip and a Fass Ddrp lift pump. I'm not looking for a race truck really its alot more truck then I need but I was needing to get rid of my 2011 ram 1500 (flattened cam lobe) and got a good deal on this 02 Cummins. Most I tow and haul is Atvs mowers and coal truck parts.
  5. Ok guys bought my truck with a quadzilla on it and I'm not a big fan of it. How can I remove it from the truck? Can I just unplug it from the map sensor and then all the other wires or do I need to take it and have it refreshed? I'm assuming the VP44 wire has been tapped but haven't looked?

Heater controls not working so assuming my vaccum pump needs resealed along with a new map sensor and harness and that should solve my issues thanks for all the help guys Hey guys got my vacuum pump kit and banjo washers and the seals for the t fitting on the return line ordered! Gonna do a service, fuel filters, oil change and filter, but looking on feed back on air filters? Should I get a BHAF or just a replacement filter like k&n?

  9. How could I check for vacuum leaks I think that is why I'm pushing oil out? Is it just the black rubber lines at the firewall?
  10. 2002 5.9 dually 81,000 miles on the clock. Have several problems guys. But firstly I bought the truck 6 months ago and have put 18,000 miles on it but when the cold weather hit I came up with alot of problems. I'm pretty mechanicly inclined I just dont know where to begin my first 5.9 24valve and diesel for that matter. Its pouring oil like a drop every 10 seconds out of the crank case vent so I emptied the bottle and filter and that didnt help a bit. Also theres a small hole in the bottle I'm assuming from the previous owner? Next I have a hard start fuel leak issue sets down hill truck starts fine, tighten the banjo bolt still no luck. Cant actually see fuel leaking from the bolt or any lines but the truck will drip fuel over night on the passenger side where the engine and tranny bolt up? Then lastly my quadzilla is reading 48psi constantly hooked a code reader up and got PO236 and PO216 (I know vp44 death). And now and it's only on cold starts I'm getting white turning into blue smoke then warm it goes away unless I stay at like a constant 1800 rpm in 2nd then itll smoke blue. (No blow by) I use rotella and Lucas for oil
