i was talking to you earlier on Facebook about some tunning changes to my setup. You said to take the smarty away, any suggestions to my 4K tunning to get it to rev and fuel higher? My max Rpm when sled pulling is 3685.

I am also looking into getting my hot rod pump turned into a dragon flow, any suggestions with tunning when I do the pump change? Will the quad still work with the dragon glow, I have read that there is no need for a fueling box with that pump.

my end goal with this truck is to stay with the vp44 and go after the record with it. It will also stay a sled pulling truck as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated

So first step is to unstack the smarty, it is just making your tuning more difficult.

The Quad doesn't care what pump you have.  I can't comment as to what the dragonflow will do.

Please datalog a WOT run from a start, that will help us figure out why you aren't revving out.

try thsi tune.  It will be alittle less powerful down low as the smarty was adding ~%40 more fuel on the base.  We can deal with adjusting for that in a bit, but this is a starting point.

Wants your opinion or experiences with industrial injections dragon flow or monster mikes pumps? Would you recommend either? And what kind of tuning can be done when these pumps are on the truck? Almost I've heard shied diesel makes a high output pump to compete with those other pumps, any thoughts on that?

I sled pull with it in a 2.5 class in eastern Canada, i plan on staying in the 2.5 class and attending pulls in Maine as well. At the same time I want to stay with the vp44 injection pump, so i would like to try and push the max capabilities of the vp

For the cost of any of those pumps you would be money ahead to ppump swap it. Mikes or a Schied lightning would be my only go to's for a modified vp. I would need to see your turbocharger rules. An s400 frame charger is what you would likely need to be competitive around here. A vp however would not even begin to do well. But I am not familiar with how serious they are out there.
